Days Inn Mystic

The hotel was in a great location. It was close to all the main attractions in Mystic and most places were within walking distance. I was disappointed with the overall condition of the building. It was dated and in need of upgrading. The rooms were clean but they certainly did not sparkle. It was good enough to sleep in and shower after long days of exploring the sights. The hotel staff was very nice. I was disappointed, though, when I went to get breakfast (which is offered free to all customers) a half hour before closing time and there was no coffee or batter for the waffle maker, etc.. There was nobody there to ask for help and I had to call the front desk. The person at the front desk actually had to come and help.

Everything worked, but at the same time, everything seemed on the verge of breaking. AC unit was ancient with broken vanes, and off when we arrived to a hot room. Faucet sprayed water when opened too far. Toilet ran. Tile grout needed to be redone. Grime in many cracks. Breakfast was the expected valueless affair, but here too there was visible grime on the walls, broken light canopies, full trash cans.

Nice hotel for the price. Small room and bathroom but that's OK - I came to see Mystic Seaport, not the inside of a hotel room. Decent breakfast but most guests had no idea how to use the waffle iron; that really slowed down the line.

Room was clean but nothing special. The hotel is beat up. Stained carpet...needs a good remodel. Not in any way worth the price i paid.

My husband was in total disbelief when I told him what we had paid for a room at this Days Inn ($260!!). That is about $100 more then it should be but all the hotels in Mystic were super expensive. This hotel is ok, the rooms were actually pretty nice for a Days Inn.

Convenient location near Mystic Seaport and right off I-95 so access to many other places to visit.

Updating hotel. Close to shopping and food and the center of town. Lighting in room was very dim. Room was clean and comfortable . Sofa, refrigerator and microwave are a huge plus

Maids will keep knocking at your door even if you ask for late checkout so get to bed early!

Arrived at 12:30pm for check in got to our room that was about 30 degrees no heat on had to move to another room because the heater sounded like it was going to die the next room was 30 degrees the heater was very noisy keeps us up all night slept about 2 hours tops also very dirty hotel would of left and asked for a refund if it wasn't for being so late at night orbits should consider other hotels to represent this was really bad

The bathroom was tiny and tv and wifi were below par. Overall room could use a face lift. It was clean and beds were comfortable.

Had no issues at the hotel, 15 mins from Foxwoods.

The hotel is older so you can see some of the wear and tear. It was good for the price and very close to everything. It is a two star so don't expect to get a luxury hotel room.

The room was just as expected. Down the street from Mystic village, the seaport and aquarium. Short drive to the quaint little town. Lots of restaurants nearby, but not much for vegan fare.

We were traveling with friends and enjoyed our three day stay. Beds very comfortable, nice staff, decent breakfast and close to attractions.

The location of Days Inn was awesome as it was right off the highway. The room I stayed in seemed a little outdated, as the bathroom could have used an upgrade and some of the furniture seemed worn. However, the bed was really comfortable and the room was clean, which the room also included a microwave and fridge, which was a plus! The free continental breakfast was a bonus. Overall I was very pleased with the room and the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

Pool was decent for price. Little dark in room but smile for overnight stay.

Hotel was okay but desk clerk gave a room and door location that was a mile (okay, I'm exaggerating but as far as could be) from the elevator. Never asked if we had a lot of bags.

OK for one night but longer stays I would go somewhere else. Very dated facilities.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights while we explored Mystic. The hotel was fine, it suited our needs and was - for the most part - clean and functional. A small stain on one of our pillows turned me off initially, and the room certainly could have been cleaned a little better prior to our arrival. But it was definitely decent, it was functional and we relaxed. Great restaurant recommendations - especially the Seaview SnackBar down the block. Very middle of the road - I've stayed nicer, but I have stayed worse.

The room was ok but not the cleanest. There seemed to be very few staff as the desk attendant was muti tasking if you needed towels, shampoo or anything else. Breakfast was alright but poorly organized. The line was so congested that it took a long time to just get a piece of toast. They could have made it much easier if they put all the breads and toasters on the opposite wall so breakfast could be expedited.
