Mykonos Palace Beach Hotel

Greece was by far one of the best vacations I've ever had and Mykonos's palace was awesome. The hotel was small but comfortable and the beach is awesome. The waitresses comes right up to your beach chair and waits on you but there is a little store where you can buy water and snacks right on beach.

We had a poolside roon which we enjoyed. We had a lovely welcome on arrival and the staff were fantastic during our whole stay. They even arranged a quad bike hire for us which came to the door. We had a great day exploring the island. A supermarket is a convenient walk just down the path with reasonable prices. We had a great stay here and enjoyed everything Mykonos had to offer , i would love to return after the renervations.

I really wish I could write a positive review of this hotel because it's in a great location, the staff are super friendly and the restaurant was delicious. After a great welcome intro with lots of fab suggestions of things to see in Mykonos, we ate in the hotel restaurant and had a delicious feta in filo pastry starter served with fig jam and a great moussaka to follow. There's also a free bottle of wine on your first night. However, the room was basic and at the top of the stairs above reception which meant we were woken at 6.30 by hoovering and general reception noise. It was also close to a car park and the banging of car doors started very early. Add some rock hard pillows and I had one of the worst nights sleep I've ever had a hotel. Apparently the hotel is undergoing some rennovation so perhaps we had an old room. But it really spoilt what could have been a lovely experience and what looks like a lovely hotel.

Loved this place great location wonderful food and great bar. The beach was great although sand or stones were tough in your feet. Staff were welcoming and so attentive and helpful. The only negative was the pool which was small not the best location but with the sea so close not the end of the world.

We've found this hotel online and it was a great value overall. It's right off the Platis Yialos beach, buffet breakfast is served right in front of the beach, with beautiful clear waters. It's filled with beach loungers, as is the case of many other beaches in Mykonos, Greece and most the Mediterrean, so you either have to pay € 15 to use it or go to another beach instead. We chose the second option, taking the water taxi that departs 200m from the hotel making stops in 5 other beaches in the southern coast of Mykonos one day and another we've rented a convertible Suzuki jeep for € 60 a day to explore more isolated beaches in the Northern shore. The room is comfortable and has all the expected facilities (A/C, bath tub, hair dryer, flufy pillows / mattress etc.). The only drawback we had was the bathroom drain that couldn't take in the flow of the emptying bathtub, so we had to do it slowly or just use the shower. Overall we had a nice experience in the hotel and for a bargain rate of € 80 with breakfast (ok, it was for off season October - but weather was really great!), it's a great value in such an overpriced place like Mykonos!

We booked the Seleni Suite for 7 nights. The greeting was very nice being shown around the place by the Manager. The room was spacious with a king size bed one 3 seater sofa and one 2 seater sofa and your own private balcony that could accomodate ourselves and four other adults, the view from the balcony was magnificent you could look out to the whole of the beach area from one point to the other. The bathroom was a shower over bath on a number of nights and mornings there was no hot water, we ran the hot water tap for over five minutes and still there was no sign of hot water, our friends also had the same problems in their room. We were told that in a few weeks the season would be over. One of the most dissapointing nights we had was when in the afternoon we noticed all the indoor and outdoor tables being setup for a wedding, we or any of the hotel patrons who i might say have spent a fair amount of money to stay here were not notified by the staff of this event. The wedding reception started, the band started playing very loud i might say and the night went on and on and on. I said to my wife at midnight that the loud band music should stop soon well how wrong i was it went on at full volume until the last song was sung at 4am in the morning. This was totally unacceptable to not only us but half of the town that would have been kept awake for all of that night. We expressed our dissapointment to the day manager and he laughed at us and commented that it was a short wedding and normally they go for two days. We were very dissapointed by this and the lack of respect to hotel guests. Then the breakfasts. There was a good selection of breads cereals and cold meats and cheeses. The hot foods which consisted of a few fried eggs some scrambled eggs, bacon, and small sausages that every time i looked at had wasps sitting on them. We noted that over the 7 days the condition of the sausages never looked new which made us think they were the same old ones were being dished up each day. My wife had some scrambled eggs which were stone cold she went up to the girl working in the area and mentioned that this type of food needed to be heated and not served cold. One morning my wife asked if it would be possible to have a poched egg and was told no only what is there. The palace hotel is a beutiful spot and staff are very good the rooms were good and i believe that they are renovating soon. Please managememt try to take into consideration the hotel guest when you are hosting functions and please try to improve your breakfasts.

I fell in love with The Mykonos Palace Beach Hotel 5 years, and am still in love! The hotel is so inviting and relaxing. On this visit, I stayed in the newly renovated suites across the way from the main hotel. It is still very accessible to the the main lobby, Notos Restaurant, and of course the pristine beach! I have been told that these new suites are the model for the coming upgrade to the rest of the hotel, and these suites are F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!! It is no wonder movie stars vacation here! My suite included a glass shower, classic Greek decor, and best of all...my very own private deck and private pool! The staff is attentive and friendly. Christy the Concierge always offered some excellent advice to make the most of my sightseeing holiday. I will always stay here when I am in Mykonos!

Stayed at Mykonos Palace Beach Hotel for 4 nights in early September 2016. We booked it here through Tripadvisor which outsourced to the site Agoda. If you decide to do this, BEWARE that Agoda automatically charges $60 for the hotel's shuttle to pick you up from the airport/port when you arrive and to take you on the day you leave (that was for 2 people so it equates to $15 per person each way). Agoda did not tell us this was included, we just happened to see it as a tiny line in our email receipt the morning we were leaving the US for our flight to Greece. We immediately called the hotel and told them when we would be arriving so we could be picked up because they require 24 hour advanced notice. The shuttle was good but if we had never noticed the $60 charge we would have lost that money! Overall our stay at the hotel was just okay. Pros: -friendly staff -the hotel is right off a beautiful (but crowded) beach -the hotel is within walking to distance to other beaches that are also nice but less crowded -the hotel is close to a mini market where you can buy water for cheap (6 pack of 1.5 liter bottles for about 5€). -the hotel is close to the bus stop that can take you into Mykonos town -free buffet breakfast was pretty decent. The staff wasn't very good at refilling the orange juice container though. -the air conditioner is a wall unit but it worked well -free wifi that was a decent speed in the room but not fast at all on the beach Cons: -the room itself is dark and kind of dirty. The door to the room didn't shut properly and there was mold in the bathroom. -shower tub is much narrower than a standard American tub. -There was a window in the shower and people could be seen walking by outside. For the people outside the window would be low to the ground but I don't know if they could see me showering or not. -beds were hard and not too comfortable -the beach that is off the hotel charges 25€ for a beach lounger in the first 2 rows and 20€ for a beach lounger behind that. The beach is filled with loungers so you have no choice but to pay that - they don't leave room for you to just put a towel down. I never tried the pool so I can't speak for that but it didn't look too great. Overall the price of this hotel was not worth the quality (we paid ~$225 per night, and this is excluding the $60 shuttle fee). We did book last minute so that could be a factor in the high price. I would say don't stay here unless you can get it for $125 or less a night.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of August. We had a sea view room with a balcony and our 2 grown up children were "upgraded" from a beach bar/pool view room to one of the new ones across the road. Their room although much more modern with a little plunge pool at the back was rather dark and uninviting and the pool was right next to the car park with no screen so they didn't use it. Our room was fine but quite small and the bathroom needs updating but not bad for Greece. The balcony was a weird arrangement because it was one long balcony for 5 rooms but with only 4 sets of sun loungers so no-one knows where they are supposed to be. The breakfast is very good with a good choice of different dishes and very helpful staff. We had a couple of lunches which were fine, again the staff very attentive. We also really enjoyed the beach bar for evening cocktails. It is in a great location with a lovely waitress and does really good cocktails.

I visited Mykonos Palace Hotel in June with two of my Friends and it was amazing! We went to Greece to celebrate our college graduation. Mykonos Palace was the best hotel I have stayed in. Despite the rooms were a little small. The beach is right there. It's a couple of minutes away from Mykonos Town and close to great restaurants. Also the hotel restaurant is amazing. The breakfast was good, however, the staff was excellent. Korina, Kostas and Felicia were wonderful. Also the concierge that scheduled our yatch tour around Mykonos island. They were the highlight of our trip to Greece. They are very passionate about their job and most importantly they care for all their guests. Thank you guys for your hospitality. I hope I see you soon in NYC. I would definitely visit this hotel again and will also recommend it to my friends and family. Greetings NYC Sairy, Massiel & Lis
