The facilities, the level of service, the location, the food and drinks were all phenomenal. We spent 4.5 great days just resting and enjoying the Mykonian experience. The room was always clean and was taken care of by the stuff at least twice a day. Breakfast by the beach was a great experience. The waitresses and waiters were very customer-oriented. The swimming pool, although it was a bit small, was always clean and added to the overall atmosphere.
me my wife and my baby, enjoy very much from top class service, great breakfast, and amazing location. they are upgrade our room to a very nice deluxe room for free. and the concierge and all the workers ware very friendly
We stayed here with another family during the August high season. The hotel is lovely, the sea view suite we stayed in was clean and modern, had a great shower, a jacuzzi outside of our room which then leads out to Ornos Beach. Full buffet Breakfast with a choice of cooked entrees Kirk omelettes and pancakes was excellent. Service is friendly and top notch at the restaurant, bar and the beach. The main negative about this place was the price. Our suite had a main bedroom with an adjacent living area that has an l-shaped sofa, which is where our two children slept. We paid over 1400€ per night. While it was a comfortable room, I think we paid at least double what it was normally worth simply because it's high season. Location-wise it's great. Ornos had calmer waters than some other bays we saw, and while there's the clubby music playing all day along the beach front, it never got too obnoxiously loud. It's easy to walk along the beach to other Mediterranean and seafood restaurants , or even to the super glam Santa Maria resort. Amenities in the bathroom were good, and there's a Nespresso machine and tea kettle, but I found that housekeeping always forgot to refill the tea bags and coffee capsules. Closet space was lacking, as we are a family of four and we stayed for a week as part of a 3 week vacation to Greece. There was one main closet for hanging clothes, and no drawers or even enough shelves for stacking clothes, so we basically lived out of our 2 suitcases and had clothes strewn all around the chairs, tables and the TV stand.
We recently spent an amazing 3 nights in early September at Mykonos Ammos as part of our honeymoon. The resort is perfect situated right on Ornos beach, with plenty of private lounge chairs for guests. The staff were all very professional, friendly, and helpful. The daily breakfast that was included was very generous, with lots of food and coffee options (and the perfect seaside view).
The hotel was very nice. I am not 100% hooked in the boutique hotel concept, as I think you could still get more stuff for the money you pay, but I understand it is what it is... so... it is a matter of personal taste in the end.
The hotel is very clean, rooms are nice, we have an awesome view to the sea. We are very happy with our choice. Above all, best service we have ever encountered of all the hotels we visited. Staff is very helpful, always willing to help, they take time to come to your room, show you around the facility, answered all our request in minutes and our room was available earlier than planned. Can't say enough about their service !
This is the second time I have stayed at Mykonos Ammos and each time it gets better and better. It is one of the best locations on the island, sheltered from the wind and has all you need within walking distance. Old town is a short bus ride away or about five minutes in a car. The hotel and restaurant is super cool, the food amazing and the staff outstanding. I would highly reccommend this hotel to anyone visiting the island. We are going back next year and will be staying at Mykonos Ammos again... can't wait!!!!!
We stayed here in August 2017 and had a wonderful holiday. The rooms were beautifully presented and exceptionally clean. The staff could not have been more helpful and we had a truly relaxing break which was just what we needed. . A special mention should go to the two members of staff who worked serving guests on the beach all day. They never stopped working and as far as we could see, dealt with some extremely rude and unpleasant people in a very polite and pleasant manner. The beach was lovely and it was great to have access to our own sunbeds every day. There were plenty of restaurants around us and the location of the hotel was great. We will be returning next year and are already looking forward to it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and have no bad words to say. Our room was lovely and looked out onto the buzy beach. We loved the location of Ornos beach, which was close enough to town but lovely to be a bit further out and on the beach. The hotel was really clean, great modern interiors and a good selection of restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Mykonos Ammos enjoyed high occupancy rates due to the amazing beach of Ornos that the hotel is located at. They used to guarantee Hotel guests a bed on the beach which was one of the main reasons for people to visit. Instead this year a total mess. They have a so called private part of the beach for Hotel tenants located on the far left side next to the neighboring beach bar which is all day long playing disastrous music (no way to relax). On top of that and worse of all is thast hotel guests need to rush and block a bed with their towel since the number of beds is less than the hotel capacity. We had to complain to the management in a very intense manner before they actually found a solution (shifted us to the Passaji beach next doors) . The view of 500 Euro hotel guests fighting over a sun bed is an absolute disgrace for luxury hospitality. In room amenities for coffee were worse than free camping areas. A kettle/boiler with just one type of sugar and no milk (hotel said they do not offer that). We did not know whether to argue or lough at them but we chose the latter since we did not wish to spoil our vacation because of an extremely disappointing management that neither was able to control its property nor was it helpful and treating its guests with some respect. I would strongly recommend people stay away from this hotel. No surprise we will not visit again after 3 years of choosing them. 5 star disappointment for 500 Euros a night.
