The door didnt have an extra security lock on it, and the sign still says it has breakfast, but they didnt have anything at all!!!

This property is unkempt. Outside there are pieces of old furniture in the stairwells, construction trash lying around. Inside the room, the lamps are broken and falling apart, the smoke detector is hanging by a wire fromthe ceiling, the TV remote didn't work, the bedside reading lights don't work, there are few towels, the mattress slides off the box springs, one boxspring is covered in plastic. The desk chair was so filthy with torn fabric I urged my husband not to hang his coat on it. The room seemed clean, but the heater did not work. The breakfast had reconstituted eggs and sausage, cereal, etc. We opted not to eat there. We have stayed in very nice hotels on the road for a similar price for one night. This place is TERRIBLE. We would not stay there again.

We discovered the phone in our room did not work when calling the front desk for paper plates. The receptionist said sorry but never offered to ensure we had a working phone. Later my husband showered and found a long female hair on his wash cloth, I had not made it pass the bed but the hair obviously not mine. The next morning I let the receptionist (a different person from the night before) know I needed more towels and washclothes and why. She rolled her eyes, got up and got more towels, and handed them to me. No apology at all. During all of these interactions I never saw a smile or felt welcomed and will not be back.

This has been a good place to stay in the past. Unfortunately, age, use and some negligence has taken a toll on this once proud property. The room was worn and needed some TLC. The vanity light flickered constantly, the phone did not work, the coffee maker was broken and the television was old and without a list of stations. The air conditioner did not work as it should, but it was adequate. The staff was very helpful and responsive. They got the telephone to work, they replaced the coffee maker and provided a list of the television stations and corresponding numbers. A nice place but a worn out property. Hopefully a remodel and modernization is in the works. No elevator is available in this two story motel.
