The camp staff are extremely hospitable. The cabin in rural Arkansas met our expectations. Awesomely convenient to Crater of Diamonds. Pro Tip - Do not trust your GPS driving there - old mining dirt roads are selected and not safe. Use a map. We had a great time!!!

      Great cabin!

What a great cabin and the owner was very nice! The cabin was clean and the beds were very comfortable! There was plenty of room and it is very close to the mining field. We enjoyed our stay and will use this property every time we come to visit the area!

        Dissapointed at Craters of Diamonds

We knew this was not going to be a fancy place. However the furniture is ancient, and I'm not talking antique. The closets are filled with junk. There were NO towels, soap, paper towels. The bed-side lamp was broken as were 3-4 in closets. The ceiling fan has a 1/2 inch of dust. An early Haloween surprise.

        5/5 Excellent

I was scared at first from renting a cabin but I'm so glad I did. The comment below is on my faceboo

If your a veteran or not this a cabin is 1.3 from the diamond mine. This owner lives across the street he has a few to choose from. During our (my son and me) stay the Miner's Diner is about 2 miles from the cabin. Great food is outstanding and the people that work here are extremely nice. The one down fall is the park opens 10am and closes at 4pm dogs are also welcome in the park. It is still fun to dig and wish that one stone wil be it, but not for us we digged for two days, meet people around around United States.

          • Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities

We enjoyed the proximity of the house to the Crater of the Diamonds. The best part was a full-sized dining-room table and chairs, where we could chat face-to-face. But the bed had no pillow slips - I ended up using a t-shirt over the ticking - and plenty of cockroaches crawled out at night. Also, aggressive dogs ran loose on the property. We were afraid to take our dog for a walk.
