We are a traveling group & have been many places and stayed in many cabins over the years. I recently came through breast cancer and so I wanted to do something nice for my Warriors who stood by me through it all. After searching several cabins found this one and it sounded like it would fit my traveling group of 9 so I booked it. Only 7 of them were able to go though. Every question I asked the owner was answered quickly. When we arrived there were no surprises - everything was just as it was stated in VRBO. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and fit all of us in 4 bedrooms. It is set up so well and we fell in love with it. The bedrooms are a nice size with comfortable queen beds in all, no storage for your clothes though except hanging them. Wasn't a problem for us. Will warn you about one thing though - it is a hunter's cabin which didn't bother us because most of us grew up hunting or around hunters. The wrap around porch is a wonderful plus and sitting on the patio facing the river every morning and just visiting was the best. The drive in is gravel/dirt after you turn off the main road with a few hills but it wasn't bad just be prepared, our van and small car made it fine. Seeing the deer on the drive to the cabin is a plus. If you plan to fish in the river you will need a trout stamp on your license, we were told that even if you aren't fishing for trout & catch one you can be fined - which I think really isn't fair but... Another thing the main living/kitchen lights come on all together, it is the only thing I would change about this wonderful cabin - I would add a dimmer switch so you could lower the lights a bit other then that - if you are fortunate enough to book this cabin you won't be disappointed! Plan on booking it again in the future!
