      Great place to stay

Overall, we loved our stay. Apparently, VRBO was notified of the WiFi problem, but hasn't altered their ad. We had almost non-existant internet, but the property managers did all they could to help us. They put an extender in the cabin, gave us the password, and let us know the owner was working on the problem. There are complaints about hot water. Currently, the water is hot, but the water pressure is crazy high, which may contribute to running out quickly if there are many people taking showers. The location is beautiful, the cabin is very nice with beautiful wood throughout, the river is nice, and it's a very short drive to town and the diamond mine. We had everything we needed except for good internet access. The property managers are exceptional. Their hospitality and willingness to help in any way is a highlight of the rental. We spent an evening with them around their own bonfire and thoroughly enjoyed their company. We'll definitely return to the same location if we head out for another crack at the diamond mine! Another highlight for us was Talinga's. Small town Mexican restaurants can be quite hit or miss, but we ate there twice in three days. The service was fantastic and the food is really good. We enjoyed the diamond mine. If you want the best chance to find a diamond, you should probably watch some videos (like Diamond Miner Ivins) and be prepared to work. Going in October with 70 degree weather was a plus. The wet sifting was fun, and getting saruca flips with good centers is exciting, although it's not always easy to find a dig spot that will give you that. Be prepared to get dirty, too. The facilities and the staff at the mine are very good. You can show up with nothing and rent all you need for a reasonable cost. We'll probably do it all again next year. :)

        Great location

I love how the property was outside of town, but definitely close enough to everything. We walked down to the river, drive to the diamond mine, and relaxed at the cabin. Perfect little getaway for our family.

          Cozy Cabin

Very lovely comfy cabin, owners and property managers were very nice and prompt to help. Loved this cabin, very nicely done, I have stayed in a few VRBO places and this cabin had more then we needed, don't worry about your first morning cup of coffee if you arrive to late to go shopping, They have plenty there. All set up for your fury family members, I defiantly will stay here again if I ever go Diamond hunting again. Overall it was a great Experience.
