We spend 2 nights here. Hotel is close to San Javier airport. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel is a 10 minute walk from the beach and near a square with lots of restaurants. There's also a spa and rooftop swimming pool.
We stayed here for 3 nights in September. We loved it. Spotlessly clean, rooms are a good size, beds very comfortable and shower very powerful and hot. Great place to stay as it's right next to the square. Lots of bars and cafes nearby. Due to the great double glazing you don't hear any noise from the square at all. Looking forward to returning
Stayed at the 525 for 10 nights, great location, hotel is right next to all the bars and restaurants and is a 5 minute walk from the beach. The rooms are spacious with a huge comfortable bed, nice bathroom and mini fridge. The only downside for us was the balcony which is slightly too small so has no chairs to sit on to watch the sun go down. The hotel has great cleaning staff and was spotlessly clean throughout.Reception staff where lovely and made us feel very welcome.Breakfast was tasty with a great selection of cold and hot food. There are loads of restaurants in the square with plenty of variety.I can recommend Delish (Mexican) and the Hemming Way which you need to book a few days in advance as it's by far the most popular. There is a cocktail bar attached to the Hotel called Amazonia (i think) which has a happy hour Mon-Thur ,2 for 1 .Nice place to go for a drink before your dinner. We had a great holiday in Los Alcazares and would definitely stay at this Hotel again.
We had a problem with the villa we rented so needed a room for the night. Walked into the 525 and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They checked us into a fab room with a wrap around balcony. The rooms are large and beautifully equipped. Lovely rooftop pool and sauna. Also a kids playroom. Would definitely stay here again
Overall we had a really good visit to this hotel. The good things were: 1. The hotel is in a good location- a lot of ex pats and therefore many restaurants and very close to the beach 2. The staff are very friendly and welcoming 3. The hotel itself was modern with comfy beds We stayed on the second floor overlooking the amazon bar. The balcony doors are good at blocking out noise but we stayed over the weekend so found it was much louder on Friday/Saturday. If you are sensitive to noise ask for a room away from the bar The hotel wifi is really good but our bug bear was that the TV was really old which let down the aesthetic of the room The pool area is small and the jacuzzi was cold. My issue was people put their towels on the sunbeds as soon as the pool area opens and then disappear for hours at a time which was really annoying I also booked a massage for 10 am one morning and waited for about 15 mins only to find from reception that the masseuse didn't actually start work until 5pm! This was really annoying and although they apologised, it wasn't the best of impressions Overall, the hotel was nice but could have been made perfect with a few little touches
I have just returned from a three night stay in this hotel on a bed only basis. The room was very spacious and spotless. The maids had cleaned the room twice in the three full days that we were there. Overall very impressed with the hotel. never went to the pool area as it was busy and no beds available but we were there for a drinking/eating weekend so it worked out okay. No meals at the hotel but the decor and atmosphere of the hotel is very welcoming. Staff are also very nice and would do anything for you. Overall a very nice weekend. There were four of us, two couples and there is a great amount of restaurants and pubs just outside the hotel. In fact there is a walkway inside the reception which takes you out to the middle of the square. I would recommend the Tipsy Thistle in the far corner, good food and drinks. Also there is a chinese called the Asia Star when you come out the main entrance to the hotel over the road to the left. This does a set meal for 7 euros 50 and it well worth a visit.
Loved this hotel! - the staff were helpful, check in was quick and painless too. The rooms are huge lovely comfortable beds large spacious bathrooms and nice showers too. The rooms have a small balcony which was nice - ours overlooked the square which was good for people watching. Smoking rooms are available too although we didnt find out until the end of our stay. Nice terrace with a bar etc as well as a roof top small pool with sunloungers. Would definately stay here again!
We stayed for 4 nights and had a double room with no breakfast. Despite facing the 525 Plaza in Los Alcazares the room was very quiet and the beds were super comfy. The hotel staff were great however my only slight criticism (why I have given 4 out of 5) was that the pool staff should not allow people to "reserve" sunbeds as soon as the roof terrace opens at 10am and then turn up at 3pm after a day out and about. There were couples and families that wanted to use the sunbeds during the day and the staff really should remove the towels unless someone is actually lying on it, that would be fairer to everyone. Other than that it was a great stay and we will be back soon.
Just returned from a 2 week stay at the Hotel 525. We have been to los alcazares for the past 10 years but had never stayed here. We were very pleased with whole stay. Room was spacious modern and clean. Maids were brilliant and very friendly and polite, doing a great job cleaning the room. A/C in room was very good and needed in August !! WiFi signal is also very good. I can recommend the spa treatments.which we took advantage of. The reception staff were very efficient and helpful and even printed some important documents for me. Breakfast was very fresh and good choices, the girl doing breakfast was lovely. Parking for the hotel is underground accessed using your room card and then a lift to your floor. All I could really fault are the staff in the bar by the swimming pool. You get the impression they don't want to be there ! And would be good candidates to do customer service training. But all in all. We had a great time and would definitely return
the location is truly great, near to the supermarket and lots of restaurants to choose from. The room was spacious and there's a separation between the toilet and the shower area. The ice machine in the hall came in very handy with hot weather, the people working at the reception were very friendly and spoke good English.Parking is safe though I imagine it may be quite full in high season but you've got lots of other parking facilities should it be full.If I ever visit this area again,I would surely stay here again!
