Mid level hotel with only single or double rooms We booked for 3 got an additional bed, for the second child we used an inflatable mattress. Room on the backyard are very silent but charged 15 euro more, no difference with those facing the steet. Breakfast has large choice with a couple of healthy items too
Only stayed one night so can not offer too much. The staff at check in and check out were friendly and efficient. Bed was comfortable, room was clean with suitable furniture and amenities. The bathroom has a shower with a good pressure and had soap dispenser in shower rather than personal free toiletries. Good nights sleep - on a quiet street so no noise. Wifi was free and good connection / speed. Only down side was the room had a really strong smell of cigarette smoke. We informed the staff so we wouldn't get the blame (and the cleaning bill). They offered to change our room however we declined being tired from traveling and not wanting to pack our suitcases again. Would stay there again.
I had booked this hotel as I was visiting Germany for few days during November, 2017 to attain conference. I must say that this hotel is little bit in isolated place, means you want find any people after dark in this area. But I didn't encountered any unusual even when I returned for two consecutive days at 0700 pm. Other than that, people speaks fluent english. Reception desk staff was too helpful, they even gave me converter for my USA charger with 10 euro deposit and gave it back when I checked-out. Rooms were little bit small, but comfortable for single person and shorter duration of stay. Although, there was completely different story about bathroom. It was too small, I even didn't felt comfortable to go to wash room, go for brushing my teeth or take a shower. Shower was so small that I was only able to stand during shower. Even I wasn't able to bend to clean my feet. It was so small that two people can't able to stand together to take shower. Room heater was also took some time to saw its effect. It was cold, when I visited germany. So, once I came back to my room, it took almost more than half an hour for room heater to felt something warmer. I wish they will improve the quality of room heater, although they wan't be able to do much in case of bathroom. Wifi was fast.
We spent 3 nights at the hotel. We were able to check in early and staff were friendly and attentive. When I asked for a kettle (there was a kitchenette but it was unstocked), they fetched one immediately. Room is basic, but has everything you need. It is on the small side, and with a third bed it was hard to move around. Breakfast was excellent with good variety. Located close to main station. I would give staff 4 stars and location and rooms 3 stars.
I got this hotel for 4 nights since I was on holiday in Munich. When I first arrived and asked for the check in there has been a mix up with my reservation that took up to an hour to resolve. When I finally got my key and entered the room I noticed that the room was already occupied. I had to go back to the reception to get another room. On the positive the receptionist offered me two days of free breakfast as an apology. The room was clean and spacious, bed very comfortable and free fast WiFi. Another positive is that they have a private parking that costs 9,5€ per night. Breakfast is very good and you can get loads of different options.
GHotel Munich is an excellent hotel, with excellent staff and great location. It is 1 minute away from the nearest metro station, it has a wonderful church just near to it, which makes it extremely lovely to get out and walk around at night when the city is quiet. It is close to Munich central railway and bust station, only 10 minutes to walk and is 5 minutes walk from the shopping center and 15 minutes walk from the city center. The staff warned us of holidays just as soon as we arrived, so that we could efficiently plan our visit. It has excellent breakfast, very diversified and tasty. The rooms are spotlessly clean. I would definitely stay there during my upcoming visits to Munich. Excellent choice.
I'd give this hotel 3.5, if I could, since it exceeded their 3 star hotel rating, but not like 4 star online user reviews. The staff was all nice and friendly. They allowed us to check in early with no problem whatsoever. We asked for the quietest room. Still there were some noises from the residential neighbors. I don't think there's anything they could do about it, but there's that. The location is 3 subway stops from Marienplatz, but you have to transfer twice. Only one stop from the train station, which was great. If you take the subway, the location is decent. But do not walk the other way down the straight shortcut to the old town. You may feel like you were thrown into the the wrong part of town. On the first day without knowing this, we walked a mile to the old town after studying the Google map, but we didn't feel like we were in Germany at all. Breakfast buffet was small, but better than I expected. They advertise it as "continental", but it was beyond the traditional concept of Continental, with eggs and sausages. The room was a little cold at night, but no self control heating or AC was available. So it's definitely a budget hotel.
Staff gives very limited if any information at all. Staff say no to all requests. Not willing to take orders or help in any way. Staff more concerned with customer understanding staff's struggles. Staff can be very aggressive and deceitful. Not female Veteran friendly. I don't recommend showing Military Identification or privilege card. Get travel insurance. Not all rooms same. Very hot rooms. Not accommodating toward customer. Staff act punitively toward customer's.
I stayed in this hotel on January 2016, but I forgot to write the review... This hotel was incredible, I had a kitchenette with all the utensils I needed for my stay. I could have breakfast or dinner super comfortably at my hotel room. Subway station is super near, Hauptbahnhof is like 4 streets away from the hotel. If you're coming to Munchen for the Oktoberfest the location is amazing, it's super close to Theresienwiese. You can go to the downtown by subway or walking (it's a little far but worth the walking, you can see interesting places and people) St. Paul's church is really really beautiful, you should visit it and delight yourself with its architecture and, to me, the bells ringing in the morning was very nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay in there again.
Stayed in this hotel just for one night. Location is good as it is 10 minutes walking from Main Station and 15 minutes walking from City center. Room was clean but a kinda small. Fair Breakfast, but I had better in other hotels in Germany.
