Clean. Safe. Great location. Friendly staff. Nothing special about the hotel itself but you can't beat the location.
Friendly staff, excellent location within CBD, room was excellent for affordability
Friendly, English-speaking staff. Excellent location across the street from Viktualienmarkt. Very nice, affordable rooms. Quiet.
This is a clean modern hotel in the center of town close to everything. we walked everywhere. Christmas market right across street. Friendly staff and great food variety fir breakfast.
We stayed in this hotel in the last few nights of our trip. The room was AWESOME! We were on the 6th floor and had a great view of the city center. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend or family member. The gentleman at the front desk was more than helpful, and gave us some ideas for dinner and cool bars to check out. He was also VERY helpful and provided us train information and the best way to get to where we were going.
This hotel is in a great location in Munich and is a good value by Munich standards based on that alone. Set-up is a little awkward with half of the hotel being in a different building, but otherwise. It's much smaller than it appears (in large part to strategic mirroring in the hallways and lobby) but again, not an issue overall. Towels seemed old and a little worn, but otherwise the room was quite nice and had a very useful kitchenette. Also had a great city street view. Restaurant opens and closes at typical breakfast/lunch/dinner hours and unfortunately there's no room service when the restaurant is closed, which was my only disappointment overall.
I have stayed at a different hotel in the past 3 separate times but due to a late notification on travel I was unable to secure the hotel. I instead booked with Derag Livinghotel in Munich, this was the best thing I could have done. The hotel was superb and had great amenities. The rooms were decent sized with huge floor to ceiling windows. City center access was just a few steps away and everything you could possibly need was in walking distance. I must say this will be my new go to place when traveling to Munich! Cons As most hotels in Munich near the city center they are on the small to medium size. For me there was plenty of room and the bed was a double size which was a plus. They don't have parking available at the hotel so you will have to pay for parking around the corner in a parking garage. The good thing is that the hotel will validate your ticket so the most you pay is 16 euros per night. Pros The staff will bend over backward to help you out You can valet park your car everyday if you don't want to deal with it. The offer a very large breakfast but it isn't included in the room cost so keep that in mind. Very close to everything you could want to see and do in the Munich city center. Rooms come free with 2 beers and a water.
Although small and not equipped with a bar or lounge, it's located in the heart of Munich and surrounded by great bars and restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. The internet was free and easy to access, which at the time of this writing is not common in Munich. Other hotels you're paying 20 Euro a day for bad connections. Here was free, easy to access with a code, and fast. The rooms are small, but in a Japanese way. Everything is compact and electronic. Points for the hotel's effort to be green and minimize consumption. The only negative I'd share is the doors to the room are heavy due to the full mirror on the back, and when the close it can be loud.
