Not a luxury hotel - not in the center of a park - who would expect that for this price? But one of the best cost/value relations that you can get in Munich.

The hotel's location is behind the VW and Porsche dealership, not a great location and hard for taxi's to find. There was supposed to be a mini bar Included but they haven't had that for almost a year however they still advertise it as having one. Breakfast buffet was pretty good but mostly German foods. Staff was very friendly and willing to help however they could.

Traveled on business with limited budget to Munich city center. Found the right place. Significantly cheaper than other alternatives close by. Large and clean room. Superb breakfast!

A worth for your money. Good location & clean environment.

Location is good. But rooms are very small. Partially recommended.

Just a block away from a main artery in the city, this hotel provided both a quiet and convenient location. The underground trains (S line), shops, banks, etc. were located just a block away, yet, the hotel located in a tree-lined street, provided a quiet and calm environment. Good and efficient room. Will return to it if visiting Munich again.

I stayed I a lovely ground floor unit with a semi-private garden patio. Great location, walked to mist sights from the hotel. Small kitchenette, desk, table chairs. A lot of comfort in a small European style room.

Great, large room with separate living area. Helpful staff. Parking is available (for a fee) in a garage around the corner. Internet wifi is free but spotty at times. Overall a good stay, affordable and close to many locations (walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go).

Hotel Derag is a typical German hotel with a few extras. It is an affordable option for a trip to Munich and provides convient access to the city with a 4 minute walk to the S-Bahn.

I was pleased with the quality of the hotel accommodation. I felt it was good value. Unfortunately I visited the on-site restaurant and found it very expensive. The location is excellent and easy to reach by metro right from the airport.

This hotel seems geared mostly towards business travelers. The service from the staff was friendly and prompt and the room was clean and well furnished. The downtown area is a short subway ride away, but there is little of interest in the immediate area.

Overall, this hotel was a good hotel, but nothing special for the money I paid. For 50-80 euros per night, it would be an excellent value, but at over 100 euros a night, with no air conditioning and cheap furniture, and an average bed, it was nothing special. The staff was great (complete english fluency), and the location was just two S-Bahn stops from Marienplatz. But the hotel felt overpriced.

The hotel is a bit dated but decent overall. 5-minute drive / 20-minute walk to the center. BAD: No AC. (We were lucky about the weather though - it was 15-20C in mid July). Expensive breakfast (14 euro). Internet only free for 1 hour a day and I could only get it to work in the lobby. GOOD: Mini-kitchen with teapot, fridge with free beer and water.

We were in Munich for a couple of days during the Octoberfest; we realized the prices would be higher, but this hotel was still not worth the money. The room was neat, but not clean (cobwebs in the ceiling corner). Do not recommend the hotel breakfast, too pricey for the quality of the product. Make reaservastions EARLY somewhere else.
