Stayed here for 4 nights on our tour of Germany. One downside is that breakfast was not provided - however, the buffet when we did pay for it was good! The room itself was fine and the location was great relative to the city of Munich. Some people have commented on the area being “seedy” but I really didn’t perceive that at all - seemed great to us and was very centrally located. Hotel staff were friendly although their helpfulness varied a little from person to person. Still, would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a good location at a good price.
The Anna Hotel in Munich was great! The location can’t be beat. It is on a pedestrian walk with shops, pharmacy and grocery store. The train station is at the end of the street and the subway is outside the door. Food at the restaurant was terrific and the staff can’t be beat!
We took the train into town and the hotel is conveniently a five minute walk from the station. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful during our stay. They have free breakfast downstairs as well which includes pastries, cheese, yogurt, etc. Nothing exceptional but a nice offering. The restaurant is located right next to Karsplatz which takes you to just about anywhere in the city. The room was very modern and clean. Nothing exceptional but the location could not be any better!
I enjoyed staying here...its very centrally located and the airport train to the city stops right at its doorstop and there is plently to do around the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The lobby restaurant is great and offers great cocktails and is quite happening on the nights we were there. My room overlooked the street and was a little loud. I was also disappointed that I couldnt get the room dark because the blinds dont keep out the light properly. Recommended stay.
Recently stayed in Anna for business. It is very centrally located, reasonably priced and with a good dim sum place underneath. Rooms were spacious but couldnt figure out the automatic shutters but they did not bother me. Rooms are not fancy but had all the basics and funny enough, first time found condoms included in fhe given vanity kit 😁
Located on Karlsplatz - just a short walk through the railway subway to Marienplatz. Anna hotel was clean and the facilities v comfortable. Spent time in the hotel bar - which was v busy - not sure why as it wasn't anything to write home about and all of the cocktails we sampled were too heavy on the lime. Either way, it was a good atmosphere and we really enjoyed the hotel so would happily book again if going to Munich.
Great hotel and location. Good amenities including comfy sandals. Right in the middle of 2 great train stations. Surround by restaurants and shops. Walking distance to the famous square. Will be back again in this hotel.
The rudest most unpleasant hotel I have spoken to and I stay in 30 hotels a year ! The reservations manager Eva Tressen (spelled phonetically) is extremely rude (hung up on me) after my 8 year old son had an accident leaving him in a wheelchair and she would not allow us to postpone our booking to the summer when he would be able to walk again. She laughed when I said I thought she was being unreasonable. Interesting that the travel agency we booked through no longer want to work with hotel. Munich has many good hotels I would avoid using this one.
Convenient, but not such a good neighborhood. Kept awake each night past midnight by street noise from the bar (even though I was on the fourth floor. Bedding was odd - two smallish twin size comforters on a large bed. Difficult to snuggle up, and (if I was traveling with a companion) impossible to share. Hospitality was fine, shower good but not great, no clock but a lovely analog high design radio next to the bed. Thermostat that didn't seem to do anything - heating adjusts by crouching on the floor and turning knobs. Warm towels on a heated rack were great.
Cannot complain given u are meters away from the subway and never too far from anywhere. Rooms are generous but a little old. Beds are comfortable and the mini bar is reasonably priced. Reception also needs sprucing up. Otherwise a good hotel. Beds are
