Cannot complain given u are meters away from the subway and never too far from anywhere. Rooms are generous but a little old. Beds are comfortable and the mini bar is reasonably priced. Reception also needs sprucing up. Otherwise a good hotel. Beds are

Really enjoyed our stay here. Room was very comfortable. Hotel is in a great location near shopping and transportation. Restaurant/lounge on the property is very convenient and nice but can be busy. Staff are very friendly and timely in taking care of concerns. We had a lightbulb burnt out in our entryway and it was fixed within minutes of reporting it.

Visited Munich for a long weekend, had never been before. Happened upon Anna Hotel during our trip advisor search and we were delighted with our find. The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk to marianplatz, the main Christmas market, and has ice-skating across the road with plenty of amazing restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Munich’s Christmas Markets.

We chose this hotel to stay as close to the station. It was a really quirky hotel being built on a “fork” in the road. It is also a good location for the Marienplatz Christmas market or to base yourself whilst in Munich. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the first floor above the bar which was a little noisy at night but not a problem. You also heard the street life outside including trams going by but the beds were very comfortable so sleep came quickly after all our sight seeing! The hotel bar was very busy at night again with good service and knowledgeable waiters (and waitresses!). Although, where it was so popular, as a guest, we struggled to get a seat so perhaps if you plan to end your night there perhaps reserving a table might be a option. Also to note the late night snacks at the bar where excellent. Overall a great hotel to base yourself whilst in Munich. Would definitely use it again.

We stayed in the Anna next Door. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe this room. It is known as the Best room in Munich with good reason. The staff are incredibly kind, considerate and efficient. We came for the Xmas markets but our stay was made by the hotel. We will return in the summer just for a different experience. Thank You Hotel Anna for a superb break in your wonderful city.

We stayed here for four nights in one of the Teak rooms. On our arrival we were given a friendly welcome by the receptionist who also let us check into our room three hours early which we hugely appreciated - thank you! :-) Our room on the 5th floor was very nice. A nice large room with a comfortable kingsize bed with crisp white sheets and pillows. Our bathroom was also spacious with a great rainforest shower with led lighting - very cool. The room staff also deserve credit as every morning they cleaned our room and it felt like we'd just checked-in every time we returned. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as there are plenty of other options in the local area. The HBF is a 5 minute walk and the Aldstadt a 5 minute walk in the other direction. The U-Bahn entrance is just outside the hotel entrance so the hotel was perfectly placed for us to explore both the city and surrounding areas. This was our first visit but we will definitely stay at the Anna again when we return to Munich :-)

This is a very well- situated hotel in Munich near the Hauptbahnhof and the sights of the Old Town. The nearest SBahn station to the hotel is Karlsplatz which is almost at the front door and convenient for transport to the airport. The hotel itself is modern and comfortable with friendly and very helpful staff although I think the breakfast is overrated and extremely expensive for what you get. We were charged 20 Euros each with the room for a fairly 'run-of-the-mill' buffet which many good continental hotels provide for less money. The only hot option was eggs done pretty much any way, but no 'proper' cooked breakfast was on offer. My other issue was with the Teak Deck Room which we upgraded to from a Design one in order to take advantage of the 'magnificent views over Munich inner city'. Our room on the fifth floor looked right into a wall with no view except some spires peeking out from the top. This was very misleading and when we complained, after some discussion, we were offered a Tower Room. I think the hotel needs to sort out this description on the website. That was quite an important issue but otherwise everything was very comfortable and efficient. It is quite an expensive hotel, but Munich is an expensive city, so on that score I would reckon the Anna Hotel scores quite highly despite my criticisms.

Every moment at this hotel was wonderful, from check-in to check-out. I was on the top floor with a beautiful room overlooking the city. A large, walk-out balcony provided sweeping view and a lovely place to sit and have a morning coffee or enjoy those tasty welcome chocolates in the room! The room was very spacious and wonderfully appointed with everything you could possibly need. The bed was so cozy I almost didn't want to go explore Munich! But the highlight of this room is the enormous bathroom, complete with infared color-changing lights controlled with a dial-pad. This bathroom is more like a mini-spa! As an added bonus, the location is brilliant. Ten minutes walk in a few directions seemed to take me everywhere I needed to go! I would highly recommend this hotel, in terms of quality, design, style, and service it does not get better!

Handy to the Karlsplatz and lots of restaurants and shopping. Staff was helpful in locating entertainment. Only negative is that two nights got kinda loud outside. Parking is available in an underground garage across the street for 25 euros a day. You can go in and out, working through the hotel.

I have to admit I was a little unfair with their active review. I said it was a boring location. What I actually meant was Munich was boring as everything was closed due to a National holiday The hotel is a good central place. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff are consistently rubbish though. On the other hand the night staff in the same bar are awesome. Food is good but pricey. Would I stay again? For sure.
