Great location, comfortable room, great price, wonderful staff

The hotel was everything I would expect in a nice, city hotel. The staff was professional, helpful and friendly. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. My only complaint would be the shower.... the glass partition did not prevent the shower overspray from getting on the tile floor. This was not only a comfort issue, it was a safety issue as well. I would be happy to recommend Anna Hotel to friends and family; I know they would be as happy as I was. Thank you! Jean Ulmer Allen

Wonderful location, fun & entertaining. Comfort with style

Best thing about this hotel is the location. near all of the main attractions in Munich and close to retail and restaurants. Not crazy about German restaurants overall, particularly for fast food but that's no fault of the hotel. Arabic area with great food options right around the corner, dont have to settle with sausage, cheese, and croissants for every quick meal!

The place is ok , but lots of noises due to nearby construction but excellent location

Great hotel--clean and modern. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location--very close to public transport (trams, U-bahn and S-bahn) and a lovely walk to the Marienplatz which is about a 10-15 minute saunter away. The local area around the hotel, while not the tourist area, was perfectly fine with some nice department stores and shops (and apparently Europe's greatest gambling center!) alongside bars and nightclubs. Our baby was nicely accommodated for with a rolling crib and a diaper pail which was emptied daily by the great housekeeping staff. Gorgeous bathroom and shower. The room comfort was let down by the temperature which was uncomfortably warm at night and difficult to regulate. While unseasonably warm in December, I can only imagine how unbearable it would be in the summer. Likewise, our room (#460) was in the back side of the building (think the bottom of a triangle) and the noise from the street was terrible with the trams going by and the party noise late at night. This made it impossible to sleep with the windows open to cool it down. Not sure which was the lesser of two evils. With that said, if you get a room on the pedestrian walk side of the hotel I'm sure the noise wouldn't be an issue so perhaps try to ask for one of those. The street side/back side of the hotel will have issues with noise. Other than that--I would definitely go back to the Anna Hotel!

This hotel was extremely close to the main train station and about a 10-15 minute walk into old town Munich- the location couldn't have been much better. Just note that the windows overlook a very busy shopping/eating area and the street is not that quiet at night. It wasn't unbearable, but it's not a silent retreat!

Very friendly staff and the hotel is well located to the train station and shopping.
