There was a bed. There was a warm shower. The door locked. That's as positive as I can muster. When I arrived the front desk they didn't have record of my reservation with this travel company. They said they couldn't connect to it. I don't know how that happens. They had rooms and would put me in one but I had to start over and give them my credit card. They said I could get a refund from this travel company, "It is easy". That leads me to think they are not on the highest level of honest business practices. I didn't have time to argue or go someplace else. I got the key and went to the room. After driving for 3 hours, I was ready to get to a bathroom. NO TOILET PAPAER. I have to go back to the front desk to get them to give me a roll. I get my bags and my cooler. I brought sandwich making supplies for my drive back the next evening. I change clothes and get settled. Planning my next morning, I notice NO TOWELS. On my way out to my event, I told the front desk that I needed them for the next morning. They tell me I can stop by when I return and get a sets of towels. When I return from my event after dark, I stop by the front desk and they had some towels for me. That was ok. They seemed clean. I get to my room ready to get some sleep and get up early for other event. I took off my shoes and this was the first time I noticed that carpet was generally damp. I put the towels in the bathroom and go to brush my teeth. As I'm doing that I happen to look in the ice bucket. There is a roach stuck on its back at the bottom, alive and trying to turn over. As far as I know it explored my toothbrush before it got stuck and before I put the brush in my mouth. I go to check on my cooler. I wasn't preparing bug battle so I inadvertantly left the top open a little. Sure enough there are 4-5 more bugs crawling on my food. TRASH. This was when I notice that the front glass wall didn't have completely covering cloth curtains, but regular blinds. The blinds didn't reach to the bottom of the glass. If someone wanted to look in they could see through the bottom 12" of the glass at what I was doing. I just wanted to sleep and move on in the morning. Not so easily done! At three different times during the night I was woken up by a screaming argument somewhere in the rooms upstairs from me. Finally the alarm goes off in the morning. I shower. No problems there. I pack and get to the front desk. I had to wait behind another guest that was complaining to the front desk woman. She didn't seem to do much but apologize. When it was my turn I put the room key on the counter and showed her my phone video of the roach trying to right itself near the sink. "I'll tell the guy", she says. I explain how my food was ruined. She apologized. She proceeds to charge me the full room rate. I said after all that I'm get the full charge. "The manager isn't here and I can't do anything about it". I'm need to leave for my event and I'm mad. Not sure how losing my cool would solve anything. Avoid this place!

To make the long story short, i paid for a room at a really cheap price, but was not able to get a room. I therefore called customer support and received a refund. I just dont want anyone to go through what i did :)

This hotel is really old, beat up and dirty. Carpet in room was dirty. did not ever clean room over 3 nights. I had to ask for clean towels. Horrible... Avoid if at all possible.

When I got to Muncie for Family Weekend after 3 hour drive I went to look for the motel. When I approached the motel it looked deserted. The one side of the motel was deserted!!! door handles broken off, beer can propping a door open, drove around to other side and there was occupancy there but what an awful site!!!! I had to drive 30 min. south to find another hotel to stay in luckily i found one!!! The pic they have for this disgusting place is a lie. This place should be condemned. I was not going to put my life in danger staying at a place like this.

Planning ahead is essential. The college family weekend cause all of my regular hotel stays to be totally booked so i went outside of my comfort zone. For the price it was worth it. The room was clean and the staff was nice and helpful.

We stayed in Muncie for a large triathlon, but made the mistake of waiting to long to book a large-chain hotel. This hotel was perfect however because we only needed a bed to sleep in for a few hours the night before the race: the staff was curtious and friendly, our car was safe in the parking lot, and the room was clean. Those are the only positives. We would not return here with our children however, because the outdoor pool was empty and in bad shape (had been for 3yrs according to staff), and there were no other amenities to offer. If you're looking for a hotel to rest your head...this is it, otherwise...book earlier elsewhere.

This hotel is scary. Half the rooms are not even open and have weeds growing out of the sidewalk in front them. The pool has no water. The carpeting is delaminating from the floor. The clerk keeps track of reservations with pencil and paper and it took forever to find my reservation. Then he said, well, the lock on the door to your room does not work - is that OK? I made him find me a different room, but in it, the bathtub faucet was broken and hot water was running out all night long.

This is the type of hotel that is in high demand and sought after by hookers, crackheads, or other derelicts. The one entire wing of the hotel was being used by local squatters as windows and ac units were kicked in. Our check in took more than a half hour as the clerk at the desk tried two times to charge me for the room that was already booked and paid for using [...]. Once we got our room we had nowhere to plug my laptop as the only two outlets in the entire room were being used for the tv and the two lamps on the wall. The room had a tv but with the HD change over almost three years ago... it didn't receive any channels. Our friends checked in the same hotel some time after us and their door didn't lock! They didn't find out until early the next morning when the door swung open for no reason! We paid $XX tax and total for the room … we found the same room at the same hotel on another Hotel site for $XX and once we got to the hotel they had a sign outside that said all rooms $XX (even less). We will never stay here again and will stay at the better hotels further away like Days Inn which was only $XX. Somehow the old line "Burn ya to Learn ya" comes to mind here, as we defiantly felt burnt by this entire experience.Stay as far from this hotel as possible unless you absolutely positively have no other choice, and even then don't staty here!

Just needed a room for the night, found this inexpensive room. I felt safe and the sheets and shower were clean - that's all I needed.

The rooms were clean and it fit the bill. We knew it was rated a one star hotel so we didn't expect anything high class. We were there to only sleep. It looked liked the place had been recently renovated. If you are not super picky, this place is fine.

The room was very unclean! For example hairs in the bathtub and around the toilet. Dead Bugs around the heater/air conditioner. I was scared to sleep in the bed when I saw the hairs. Bad location! Meaning I think the hotel is used for other things. Only my opinion!

i really enjoyed our stay. the hotel appearance was not great but the room was really nice. i loved the jacuzzi!!! there were no movie channels.

This hotel was pretty bad. BUT it was about what I expected - for the money. Clean sheets are key when you take a gamble with trying to save some money - and this hotel had them! I was traveling alone. My wife and kids wouldn't have gone for it!

box springs was broken on bed

Cold water for sink did not work. Heating fan ran every three minutes all night.

We were unable to sleep due to the lack of locks, dirty sheets, and filthy room and bathroom. Over all, it was the hotel from [*]!
