I have stayed at this hotel a few times now and loved it every time, sadly I was disappointed on this occasion.
When I checked in, the lady at the check in, spent her entire time on the phone while checking me in, she had no time to interact with with, and even when I said at the end i needed 2 keys, all I got was a nod while she continued her phone conversation, The room was nice and comfortable, although in need of a new floor and new shower head. My second disappointment is again down to service, this time in the 24 restaurant. I used it twice once for a cup of tea, and once for an evening meal. on both occasions the service was beyond poor. I ordered a pizza which I had to do twice as the guy who took my original order failed to pass it through, I then asked another waiter for a drinks menu, which he picked up from another table and then went to talk to 3 other customers before coming back to me with it, there seemed to be a lot of men walking around in brown suites who have no idea what customer service is, breakfast was equally shambolic, I was given a table, then while i went to get my food, the same table was given to 2 other people. This is such a shame as I am a great fan of the Lalit Brand, but standards are slipping,
