Hotel is conveniently located in a nice area Rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Although security checks while entering the hotel every time is a nuisance, it gives an assurance about safety these days

Oh, where do I begin? The rooms are opulently designed and look a lot more interesting than most of the bland-looking rooms at other five-star hotels. Each room has a Bose or KEF(?) radio to which you can hook up your phone or laptop to produce high quality sound for your music. The entire wall that encloses the bathroom is made of glass and it looks very cool, but because of the gaps, lack of privacy could be a problem if you are staying with someone since you can hear everything that's going on in the bathroom. Pondichery Café is my favorite place to eat because it just feels vibrant with the interesting music playing and the wonderful ambience of the place. A special shout-out to Yogesh the sous chef. He went above and beyond and made me declicious shrimp nigiri for a few of my meals and he was highly engaging and courteous and helpful. Kudos to all of the staff working at the Café who were very friendly. If I could one request, a more diverse selection of Japanese food would be much appreciated. Artisan is a very nice place to have an informal meeting with a cup of tea or coffee and dessert. I hope you have my junior suite ready for me the next time I am in Mumbai!

Picked this for it's proximity to the airport and decent shopping in Bandra. Wow! Amazing breakfast buffet- best I've EVER had- with a full compliment of Indian and western breakfast items, freshly squeezed exotic juices on demand, and just about any item you can imagine. Dinner at Tuskers was a gourmet delight! Rooms were beautifully decorated. The five star experience began the moment we exited our car. Couldn't ask for more

I had a trip last month to Mumbai for my US visa stamping. I had a choose a hotel near the International airport with minimum commute the US consulate. This time I decided to try Sofitel and my decision proved great. Proximity to US Consulate General + Good Food were the best features for me.

Everything was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming staff except for 1 spoiler (see below). Luxurious and cozy room. -2 for one of your oversmart staff who came chasing me down the hallway to ask my room number, for the 3rd time. He took me back to the restaurant to sign the receipt (he should have sent it to our room instead at least). When I asked him why are they asking my room number so many times, he seemed to be so bothered. His attitude and reply gave me a feeling that Sofitel is providing us dinner in charity. Rest of the staff was awesome. But remember the above post dinner experience so that you are not unprepared like me to suddenly experience a 0-star hotel service for few minutes. Note to self - No lunch/dinner at Sofitel's restaurants.

If you want a clean, convenient, and friendly stay in Bombay Sofitel is certainly one of the best. From the wait staff who told me story after story of his travels around the world, to the "Bonjour" by every member of the team in the hallways, you will find this an enjoyable experience. My only issue is that they make a terrible Eggs Benedict. Otherwise it's a brilliant bed, and I'm happy staying in a place that I know will have the five star quality that many hotels here in India don't have or even come close to.

Great service. Immediate response to every question.

Excellent, spacious rooms with a great shower and bath, as well as huge comfy beds. A good location in the BKC complex as well, so convenient to most areas of the city and the airports. The only fly in the ointment was that the restaurant service was slow, albeit pleasant.

Spent two nights here during a leisure trip to Mumbai. Overall pretty happy - the place is clean, comfortable, and stylish (though not everyone might agree on the last point - my companion felt it bordered on garish). Bandra Kurla Complex is sort of disconnected from the rest of the city though - so the area is not representative of most of Mumbai. Might be a good thing for certain folks, but I preferred the two nights we spent in Worli before coming here. Still, was a decent location to access Bandra, Juhu, and Andheri. Only bad experience we had was at their restaurant Tuskers. First, we were turned away, because they were "very busy and fully booked". I was skeptical, and persisted, and after checking with her manager, the hostess let us in - to a two-thirds empty restaurant! Not cool at all. To add injury to insult, I got a badly upset stomach after eating here. Would definitely avoid Tuskers.

I booked this hotel for my parents. Staff was very helpful.

I have nothing to complain about the hotel. Everything was good except for the fact that I was staying there with a colleague. It would have been perfect if the restroom had locks. Infact, the restroom is designed with glass panels which had huge gaps (on purpose).

The hotel lobby and the room are definitely 5-star quality - you will forget you are in a hotel in India. Highly recommended.
