The lady was very polite when I checked in. The room was clean and had all the necessary items such as microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. After that I noticed that when you flushed the toilet you had to wait to make sure it filled up or else you had to take the lid off and put the plunger back down. When I took a shower the water came through both the shower head and the faucet. It was very hard to regulate the temperature of the water. I always leave the light on so I can see in the room when I return. I had also left plasticware on the table which had been opened. When I returned the light was off making it difficult to see and the plasticware was gone. I called the front office to ask why the light was turned off and why they took my plasticware. The person at the front desk was difficult to understand. He told me they always turn off the lights and if the plasticware is left on the table they throw it away. I told him that was my property and they had no right to take anything left on the table. He kind of laughed and said that's just the way we do it. The breakfast menu was horrible. All they had was cereal, toast, juice and honey buns. I didn't eat there since there are so many restaurants around. I did get a cup of coffee, but the lid didn't fit the cup. When I asked about it, the same person told me they sent the wrong lids. When I asked him why he didn't return the lids and get the new ones, he just laughed and said he did, but they sent the wrong ones again. Needless to say, i will not be staying there again.
Day 3: While looking for the remote under the bed I noticed bloody panties. The owner/manager(?). offered no compensation and said they only clean under the bed every 3 months. Also, the safety latch was broken. The owner/manager said they check those every month and said I could have broken it myself. I have been in hotel management for 5 years, I informed him what he was telling me isn't hotel standards for any hotel, anywhere. He said if I didn't like it I could leave. So I did, but it was 2pm and check out time was 11am, I was charged for that night. They wouldn't even do that for me. He, and the front desk clerk, were nothing but combative and argumentative. I called the corporate office, who in turn called the hotel manager/owner. He is a coward and didn't take the call from the corporate office. I was told he had left for the day but I was literally just talking to the man. It's been 5 days since the incident and have yet to hear back from anyone at that property or the corporate office. I glad that's not how my brand/property rolls.
Clean room nice bed and very responsive staff Close to many restaurants near by. The motel is located in the center of town. Service stations and grocery across the street. The swimming pool is under repair
first time I stayed here, the shower was either scalding hot or to cold. I decided to come back again due to the cheap price and the sewage literally started coming up through the floor. The smell was unbelievably strong and rancid. I was moved to another room and was offered 0 accommodation. I'll never stay here again
I called to ask some questions about a reservation and was greeted by a man who sounded like he just woke up from a nap. He was hard to understand and very rude. Then at the end he told me to not ask stupid questions and then hung up the phone. Way to try to win my business, econo lodge.
Stopped in for the night on a weekend fishing trip. The service was good. The room was pretty good. There was a flat screen mounted on the wall with no attempt to hide or organize the wires. The thermostat dial on the heater didn't work too great. It was either too hot or too cold. Had to slightly adjust every couple hours so didn't sleep that great. The beds were comfortable. Room was quiet. Plenty of parking.
Extremely run down. Pool actually had frogs in it - you couldn't see the bottom for the trash in it. Refrigerator didn't work. Bathroom ceiling had one light & one hole where a light fixture should be.
I wouldn't recommend. If your in a pinch you will be ok I think I would try to find someplace else. They said pool was closed due to needing a pump. Looked like it had been out for awhile, water was slim. Needs updated all around.
Rooms were clean, affordable, and the beds were comfortable, we all were pleased with our stay, was very pleasing and peaceful! The landscape of the hotel is surrounded with various plants and beautiful flower arrangements.
The Econo Lodge was nice. The people were friendly the room was clean. Well used but clean. We were needing something convenient, clean and affordable. It hit all those marks. It needs some updates but this is the Econo Lodge you have everything you need but it's not the Taj Mahal. We enjoyed our stay there and we would go back there.
