WE were invited in a very friendly way by the indian owners.

For just a 2 night getaway it was nice. The price was great. Close places in walking distance for food. Elks club right down the road :) Overall a good time.

the owner of the hotel said that he did not turn the heat on until 9 p.m. it was freezing cold in the room and there was no hot water and the bed was as hard as a rock I had to ask for extra pillows because the pillows were like pancakes

Room was clean and comfortable. The shower had a new valve and worked well. Flat screen TV was new. Staff friendly and accomodating. Will return.

Very convenient for a place to crash on a longer road trip. For it's remote location, I was pleasantly surprised by the condition and comfort of the rooms. Would stay here again.

This was a stop over after having ridden a bicycle trail in Vermont. The nest morning we proceeded to drive to Maine and ride a bicycle trail there.

When I first walked into the room there was a weird stale musty odor. Every outlet in the room was controlled by the switch on the wall. So for instance if you plugged in an alarm clock and didn't know this in advance it would have been turned off when you turned the lights off for the evening. Also the refrigerator turns off when the switch is off so it took a while to figure none of the drinks were cold. The bathroom is small and not quite clean. There was a musty and sour smell coming from the shower curtain. The happiest moment I had on my trip was when I checked out and I will never check back into this place ever again.

AC unit was inoperative

We stayed here during a ski trip. Hotel is older and rooms are small... but hey, all we did was sleep there. The motel is very pedestrian friendly. The town square is less than a block away and has a little tavern and Chinese restaurant. There is a Rite Aid drug store 2 blocks south. There are a couple of restaurants between the hotel and the drug store. Caveat... don't bank on a very extensive continental b'fast. Cold cereal, pastries, weak coffee. McD's is right down the road though. Overall, I would stay here again. Great value!

Clean and comfortable but otherwise nothing special. Stong odour on arrival suggested cigarette smoke (in non-smoking room) but may have just been old age!

the hotel was clean bathroom needed updateing or cleaning. good location walking distance to good resturants. over good stay

Staff was courteous and accomodating. Room was clean and plesant. Although room was small for furniture chosen. Not recomended for stays longer than 4 to 7 days. Staff was knowledgeble of area. Location isn't quite remote, but it takes awhile to figure out the best way to locate it. Walking distance to dowtown resteeraunts and shops.

I had a brief stay at this hotel, but was very pleased with the room accommodations (mini fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, luggage rack) and the wonderful hotel staff. Check in and check out was a breeze, there was ample parking, and the room was very clean. The only thing I did not like was the obvious repairs made to holes/dings/paint scrapes in the wall and the worn look of the furnishings. However, for the price paid, the room was a great bargain and I would definitely stay at the hotel again.
