The location of the hotel was fantastic. The Boardwalk is right outdoors and this is within close driving distance of Mt. Rushmore. Rooms are a bit outdated and hotel vending machines for snacks and otherwise were not working.

We were next to the indoor pool. kids played loudly into late evening to pool closing. we complained to front desk. others had complained also. the front desk acted right away to fix this problem. other than that our stay was great.

The hotel itself was alright. The room was very small. Very little room to move once the luggage was brought in. No complimentary breakfast which was disappointing. Parking spaces were very small and hard to get in and out of.

I have stayed here before with a group and as an individual. Very accommodating, clean, friendly. I love the location, minutes from Mt. Rushmore and right in the middle of this little tourist town.

Staff reports that the hotel is under renovation, The room had a sharp metal shelf from the TV still attached to the wall (new tv was hanging on the wall) right at the height of my 6 year olds face. In a small room with an excited child I spent a lot of time standing in front of it so she would not get hurt. There was no lock on the door inside the room. Every hotel I have ever stayed in had had a metal latch that could be used from inside to room to provide security. This hotel does not have secure entrances so anyone can walk in, I ended up putting our heavy cooler and luggage in front of the door while we slept. When I asked for some air freshener for the room, because the air conditioner was smelly, I was given a spray bottle with what I am 99% sure was plain water in it and told it was air freshener. Not only was I upset that I was given water I was also a bit shocked that they do not train their staff on OSHA rules and are giving out unlabeled bottles of unknown liquids. Pool area is VERY slippery. I was walking very slowly and nearly fell. I saw several excited children slip and fall.

The room was small I had asked for 1 st floor room didn't get that they didn't have one we had no table yo sit at in the room and the floor around the pool was so slick people were slipping while walking up the pool or hot tub the pool water was freezing cold and when we got there we discovered the hotel was just purchased 2 months prior

Very nice place. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was super helpful and nice.

Parking HORRIBLE. staff is friendly. Room we had wasn't done renovated.. dark green carpet. Yuck

Arrived late, night mgr sleeping, no towels, no toiletries, no toilet paper in room and no phone to call front desk...did have a roommate but he met an untimely demise (large bug). Exterior looks great though...

Great location. Rooms aren't fancy but are clean and the pool is great

First night door did not lock. Moved rooms. Waited 30 minutes to check in.

Quiet great location would have liked a few more restaurant choices.

We had a awesome time in Keystone. We rode our motorcycles all thru the Hills to Sturgis and back. The hotel and the staff were great, Pet friendly as well as customer friendly....no strong amenities but perfect for us.

The sheets were dirty when we got there and the tv only had 5 channels

Because it was so centrally located we drove to Black Hills, Jewel Cave, Custer Park, Needles Highway, Mt Rushmore in the morning and back for the evening show and Devil's Tower. TV's were old but the movies were new. Room was very small but we made it work. Priced for the area. Town was cute and we loved the food and hospitality,

It is a hotel in a tourist town. It was ok for what it is and the best feature is its location.

This was a great place to stay to see Mt. Rushmore. Convenient to walking around Keystone and the best value we found. Recommend it, especially if you have a pet.

The only problem I see is parking issues and the cleaning staff could have checked our rooms daily. Instead we had to ask for supplies.

Just an average room, a bit out of date. Close to restaurants.

This hotel was nice, but nothing fancy. The pool area was clean and inviting. It is an old building with renovations. Odd layout.
