Great Experience.. Great room. This Hotel has rooms that folks that like pets can use. Our first room was a pet type room and had a strong perfume smell - - I guess to cover up pet odors. The staff understood and moved us to another room. If there was an option for room type on Orbitz then this was my fault.

The room was hot as the air conditioner didn't seem to work properly, there was only one ice machine in the whole complex, and the light to the second floor where our room was didn't work so it made it difficult to negotiate the steps safely.

Clean room but small bathroom. Great breakfast. Pool was out when we were there. Poor timing to update - as it is summer.

Motel was OK, expected the rooms to be slightly larger going by pictures.

Good location for the areas attractions. Room was clean, with everything we needed. And the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The complimentary breakfast was terrific and a great money/time saver!

Even though the exterior may not be anything special. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and the breakfast was good!

Near downtown , inexpensive place. Was just what we wanted .Would stay there again and plan to there next time we go thru SD .

The staff is nice and she told us the information about dining and other information about Mt. Mushmore. The beds are comfortable but the blankets are not warm enough.

Staff was very pleasant, friendly and courteous. Our room was for the most part clean, fresh sheets, clean bed. However their was some areas that needed some attention. the AC unit had TONS of dust on the vents, so pretty much turning on the vents was an invitation to dust bunny town. Really obvious, so not sure how that was missed. Room was also filled with a number of spiders, including a very large (dime sized) on the first night of check-in. After our battle with the large mystery ended with a crushed tissue, we noticed a few more small beetle like bugs throughout the room. Now, to be fair, I'm not familiar with the area, and this could be a completely natural phenomena for this region, but every night we were killing bugs. Squished another spider on a wall day 2, couldn't get all the guts off, and staff didn't realize. I'm pretty sure their are still spider stains on the walls. :( Breakfast was poorly organized, long lines because of the layout, the entire breakfast was stuffed in 1 corner of the lobby. Overall a pretty average experience, not great, not terrible, place looked like a renovated motel. Was a good value and a good location, close to everything.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel because of the locality of everything. Staff were very friendly and helped you find where you were going. Putt Putt is right across the street and is $8.00 per game... fun place. Nice restaurant that's basically in the same parking lot called Dakota Cowboy. Had a cute gift shop as well, so no need to drive into town. Food was great. Pool was in good shape and quite large for a typical hotel pool. Warm water made it easier to play in. Hot tub bubbles did not work though. :( Noice was typical with hearing every footstep above you, but nothing worse than any other hotel. Breakfast in the morning was great with waffles and biscuits & gravy, etc!! Pleasant surprise. 20 minutes to Crazy Horse. 45 minutes to Mt. Rushmore. 20 minutes to Custer State Park.

I was really surprise that this hotel actually served hot breakfast. The room was comfortable but it did not have a mini fridge or microwave in the room also don't relay on your GPS because it will tell you to turn right when its suppose to be a left turn at the light, coming from I-385.

The hotel is in a great location - perfect for exploring the Black Hills area. The room was clean. The beds were new and comfortable. Breakfast was as good as free hotel breakfasts get.

we enjoyed the location. friendly staff, they worked hard. pool was a plus for the kids after a long day.

Air conditioner did not work well. No pot for the coffee maker. No mat for the bathroom floor. Help not helpful. Would not recommend this hotel.

The problem with this hotel is not that it is unclean or so bad (except for the stench from the air conditioner). The probem is that this is an older hotel and shows it. It has an outdated and worn appearance. The competition in the price range is newer and better, and this hotel is not a good value.

This was a good place to stay for sight seeing. It was very close to the Crazy Horse Memorial and not far from Mt. Rushmore. The room was very clean and well kept. The front desk clerk and housekeepers were so nice. The room was a little cozy, but we didn't spend much time in it so that was no big deal. I liked the fact that the sink and a large counter area were outside of the shower/toilet area so we could both get ready at the same time. The only down side was that the free breakfast was very crowded. My husband didn't care for the cold biscuits and gravy. I didn't eat the breakfast. The indoor pool was a good size and also very clean. Overall, though, it was very good and I would absolutely stay there again and recommend it to friends.

Great friendly staff. Very accomodating to my needs. Close to 1880 train, rock climbing, wedding veil falls and so much more

It was adequate.

very nice, quiet, and clean hotel!!! nice to have laundry room to catch up on laundry since we had been traveling for 5 days at that point and were still going!! :)
