Decent place bed and breakfast. Nothing spectacular. Very friendly. Nice free breakfast.

This was our first visit to the area, and the staff was great at helping us organize our time. The grounds are extremely well taken care of. The owners take great pride in the property, and appreciate their customers!

Loved the breakfast and cookies! All around, very nice place, planning on coming next time I'm in the area. Couldn't recommend it more!

We enjoyed this place, wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a very clean hotel. Comfortable beds. Good location.

The hotel is in Custer and centrally located to everything. The staff was very friendly and they were so nice not to charge us for the first night because of travel issues that prevented us from getting there on time. The breakfast was nice our daughter loved the pancake maker! It is a nice comfortable place to stay.

Nice motel, relatively clean, good location for seeing the sights. Did not use anything besides the room and breakfast. Non-deluxe rooms all face the parking lot and front doors are not super secure - they are double door patio style with glass insets. The room was fine, beds were rather soft for my taste. The A/C unit (wall unit) or the room - couldn't tell - smelled like paint. Bathroom had hair bands on the floor from previous occupant. Staff was pleasant, breakfast was fine, but machines are used to make pancakes and coffee and are often out or overwhelmed. Overall, it was a motel and overpriced in high tourist season, not sure could do any better for just one night.

Enjoyed our stay. Close to shopping. Easy access to area attractions, poor wi-fi.

Very comfortable, quirky small hotel, enjoyed our stay. Location very convenient for Black Hills exploration. Wish they had a workout facility.

This hotel was a great value. Staying out of season was the key. Everything from a friendly staff to a good breakfast earns this hotel cudos.

Nice family run place to stay. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

Close to Custer State Park, Wind Cave National Park and Mt Rushmore. Staff was very friendly. Room was fairly average, older hotel but clean. Beds were very comfortable. Good breakfast if you like pancakes

This cottage cute hotel was easy to locate and the check-in went smoothly. Staff was very friendly and always seemed to be in a helpful and happy mood. Including the person that kindly escorted my daughter to the ice machine that was clearly marked ICE MACHINE. Clean towels provided at the pool along with pool toys for the kids. The breakfast was my favorite part of our stay. Great coffee and fruit flavored water. My son and daughter both enjoyed making their own pancakes (you just press a button and done) then sprinkled any or all of the many toppings provided for the guests. Even giant marshmallows for the hot chocolate were provided. I would recommend this hotel to any family visiting Mount Rushmore area.

Clean rooms. Nice restaurant. The pancake breakfast was a hit with the kids, but the line was long and slow.

Very good experience, would stay here again, beautiful setting, attractve griounds

the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and staff was friendly. I would recommend this hotel.

The staff was great about helping out where they can.

Great location to visits the sights, near Mount Rushmore, Bear Country and much more. Good pancake breakfast, excellent views. Chophouse right next door.

We stayed at the Bavarian Inn for 3 nights. It was me, my husband and two ten year old boys. The location of the hotel is only 1.5 miles to the Crazy Horse Memorial and less than a mile from the main street of Custer. The hotel was great! They have plenty for kids to do. The inside of the room was clean and had amenities that you would expect. Only complaint was the shower head was so forceful it felt like I was getting exfoliated. They had a pool table, board games and two pools. We would recommend the hotel to anyone.
