I was just suppose to be in Moses Lake, WA for a couple of days. It ended up being 8 days from September 30th through October 7th. It could have not been any more pleasant than it was. The rooms were clean, the towels fluffy and fresh, nice hot water and great water pressure. The manager, Connie Schei could not have been any nicer or more helpful. She was great with suggestions for different types of restaurants. Spot on with those suggestions. The restaurants were great. She allowed me to take a roof rack off of my van and sand and paint it in the parking lot. How many big city motels would allow that? Also my company paid for the motel through CLC for the first 6 days. I had to pay for the last 2 days. When she heard that she gave me the contractor’s rate which was cheaper than my boss was paying through CLC. I was always messing up my room key wiping out the code. It started out the first night, I had to get Connie out of bed to rekey my key. I screwed up my key at least once a day. It was a big joke throughout the motel. Connie did not complain once. She relayed my key every time with a smile. (FYI - It was the key fob for my vehicle that was wiping out the code not my phone as I had thought) I figured out the problem my last day there. Connie just laughed and smiled. There are 2 motel cats. They are great and add to the atmosphere. For breakfast everyday I had hard boiled eggs made fresh by Connie. If you get a chance to stay in Moses Lake stay at the: Econo Lodge 316 S Pioneer Way Moses Lake, WA 509.765.8631
Place was creepy. The door lock was broken, everything is from the 80’s right down to the alarm clock. Dirty. Just avoid at all costs. Random people coming to the room asking if we were in the right room, a lady with her purse came in the morning and asked if she could clean our room... not sure she even worked there. Just do it. Stay away.
RUN... do not stop!! Place is down right scary. I will say the front desk was pleasant and nice but the rooms are awful , tiny , thin walls, not at all clean , the shower walls are yuk yuk yuk. Loud loud music playing from upper level
The rooms are small. Smells funny around the place. Very dirty. Over priced for what you get. The lady running the place is a witch. I can see why the place is run down with her running it. Must be saving. To keep the dump open.
This is the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. It’s not even worth 1 star. Because of an event at the Gorge Amphitheater, we had to stay here because of no rooms in town and paid almost $200.00. It’s not worth $10.00. It’s dirty, the photos online are deceiving and nobody in the office in the evenings or mornings for any help or service. Pool closed. Wifi non-existent. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough. It should be condemned.
TOTAL WASTE OF TIME! Would give ZERO Stars if it were an option! Showed up to check in for my reservation, waited for 20 minutes while the front desk clerk was on the phone without so much as an acknowledgement of my existence in the "lobby" area (more on that later). Finally, I got fed up of waiting and went to a HOTEL down the street (a HOTEL [not motel] that was much nicer, included a full breakfast and was $4 more per night). In less than the time I waited to even be greeted at the Knight's Inn, I was able to make a reservation, drive to this other hotel, get checked in, take a shower after the gym across the bridge from the Knight's Inn had no water due to the City of Moses Lake rupturing their water main, and call the Knight's Inn to try to rectify the situation. When I called and spoke to the unidentified person at Knight's Inn (allegedly the "Property Manager"), I explained my situation and asked that they please cancel my reservation and not charge my credit card- to which I was told "No- I'm not going to that; you can come back here and check in now," and that was it. No apology for making me (along with the other 6 people ahead of me in the "lobby [an area that's maybe 150 s.f.]) without so much as a "hello," no alternative course of resolution. Then, as I kept trying to explain to her what my intentions are if she doesn't want to resolve it the "easy" way (I don't understand why such a stink over $78.42), she just kept aggressively, rudely, and combatively arguing with and interrupting me, not listening to a word I was saying, and then hung up on me. Now I'm getting the runaround from the Wyndham Hotel Group's "Customer Care" team to boot; nobody wants to take responsibility and be accountable for this circus. Again, if this was the only place in town with vacancy, I would rather sleep in my car or on the bank of the river in a pile of newspapers than go anywhere near the place.
Our car broke down so we had to find a last minute place to stay in Moses Lake. This place stood out as the better of the cheapest motels in the area, locals recommended too. Clean and decent room. Super close to the theater, which helped us kill some time. Make sure you ask for extra pillows!
Stayed 1 night. The room was clean and everything worked. The price was good and the location good. We were given good advice on where to eat by the receptionist who was very welcoming. It's not the ritz but it's not ritz prices.
I probably wouldn't stay there again. It was a king size bed that was comfortable but with polyester sheets; The carpet was torn up at the door. They shorted us towels, soap was from some hotel in La Jolla CA. The shower was in need of serious repair. The only chair in the room was duck-taped together. Wifi didn't work. Sorry. We slept OK which was our principle reason for going there.
My mom was in ICU unexpectedly... I found these guys a few years ago because of the close proximity to the hospital, maybe a minute away if you catch the traffic light right. My stay was scary and stressful but also a comforting experience because of Knights Inn. My mom went into hospital again this past week and I found myself needing a place to stay. The great thing besides being clean and comfortable was the fact that if I needed to extend my stay, they worked with me. At a time that I was super scared and stressed, it was nice to see a smiling face. So rare these days.
