This is an excellent hotel with friendly, efficient staff plus comfortable rooms. In addition, the food in the hotel restaurant is quite good. The hotel is in a great location, only a short walk to the Kremlin.

This smaller hotel is located on the other side of the river, but only 20 min. walk to center of the City where everything is happening. Smaller room but okay if it only for one person. Good and kind English speaking staff.

My Wife and I stayed in this really welcoming hotel in July. The room was really nice, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend the caviar pancakes! The staff were really especially the reception staff who had excellent customer service skills and really good local knowledge. The hotel is a 10 min walk from the nearest metro station, its not far from Red Square and in a quiet area.

The hotel is centrally located a short walk from the the river, the Red square, Arbat street and other sights.Quick and easy check in and verfy friendly and helpful staff. The hoteli small with a limited number of rooms and therefore easy to get around. The room was also small (they offered upgrades), but ok. Very good lighting conditions and decent bathroom. The shower was in the bathtub and the shower head was a little to low to my liking. Breakfast was ok and a small terrace outside with restaurant service. The weather was nice during my stay so I spent some time outside enjoying a glass of wine. It was quiet and comfortable with little street noise. I f the offer is good I will not hesitate to stay there again.

This is the only hotel i will frequent when in Moscow with my family. First, the receptionist staff are multilingual, highly professional extremely helpful and always smiling. All were exceptionally capable and a joy to meet. The restaurant staff are also very helpful and accommodating and the breakfasts are delicious If you like hot or warm crepes, ask for that as otherwise they usually are cold. However, they are delicious. Although you are informed breakfast begins at 8am, you can eat earlier than that and it may help to inform the receptionist the night before. However, we arrived 7am and although not everything was displayed, we could order what we wanted from the menu and/ir help ourselves to the buffet. Oleg and Vlad were as always very diligent in catering to our requests. The location is also excellent, being perhaps 20-25 minute walk to the Kremlin which on a summer’s day was a delight. The rooms themselves are very nice. As we were a family of 3, we had room 412 (from memory) which was a bedroom suite with ensuite and an adjoining door to the other bedroom with its own bathroom and TV, etc. This is perfect if traveling as a family. As I wrote at the outset, this is the only hotel i will stay in Moscow because of its staff, location, breakfast, all exceptional but at an affordable price. See for yourself.

Decent hotel, the service was good, location was superb near the river and was very close to the centre and a decent distance from the main attractions. An all round decent experience and would visit again...

We stayed for 9 days in January. The hotel is located in a secondary street and the entrance, small and barely visible, gives on an internal courtyard. No one is at the entrance, no concierge or porter man. The reception is small but at least the staff is smiling. The rooms are much smaller than they appear on web and on our arrival we had to ask to change it as the room was smaller than described. Our "junior suite" was ridiculous and it has nothing of a suite, it was a normal double room with a small sofa but at least the bed turned out to be very comfortable. The bathroom is not the most recent. The breakfast room/restaurant is very dark, none of the staff speak a word of English and the breakfast offer is really inadequate for a hotel of this category. The lift was out of service for 9 days, as was the telephone, which was unacceptable. But the biggest absurdity is that these gentlemen, booked through booking.com, have done everything to get us a direct booking, with absurd games and unloghical excuses. The reasons can be two: either they didn't want to pay the booking commissions or they didn't want to receive further reviews. In any case, absolutely disappointing, it can be at most a good three-star hotel.

We were looked after from the moment we booked the trip until we were dropped off at the airport. My numerous questions by mail about vouchers to get a visa, airport transfers etc. were dealt with very quickly and in a polite and friendly manner. When we arrived until when we left, we were treated like VIPs. Of course, it is expected that such a hotel treats its guests well and that the facilities are good, but it was more the small things which made the difference. The ladies and gentlemen on reception getting us water or coffee to go to take out on our trips, organising a taxi to pick us up from the ballet, so we didn't fall foul of expensive taxi drivers (really recommend this!), showing genuine interest in our activities and wellbeing. We really appreciated it. Thank you!

We had a pick-up from the airport. They guy was on time and polite during the trip to our hotel. We had a warm welcome at the reception. The room was okay and clean. The breakfast; pancakes are super. The service is good and nice people. Location is super, especially for that price. You walk out the hotel and at the end of the street you cross the bride and you are at the red square.

Booked deluxe King Size studio and paid handsomely for it.. What I got was a room we would describe as no better than a standard double. Shower over the bath - no walk in shower - no separate studio facilities or separate seating area even - a mere 2 seater couch within the bedroom. I refused to accept it and was moved - I would say the staff are polite and helpful - they are not the problem - it is the hotel!!! The alternative room was slightly bigger dimensions but just a standard bedroom (king bed) but still no walk in shower or separate seated area or anything remotely like you might expect in a studio. However not wanting to spoil our holiday - we said fine and went on to unpack!! Very minimal on coat hangars (had to ask for more) or space to store suitcases. So onto the bar.....there isn't one per se...there is a tiny seating area for maybe 5 or 6 people immediately in front of the restaurant but that's it! No relaxing lounge areas at all! Ordered 1 wine and 1 beer. Told I could not charge to our room - licence issues! The wine was 950 rubels - £11/£12 but we were offered a discount as resident 20% - still ridiculous for the poor standard of hotel. Hotel ordered us taxi which was charged to room - DO NOT DO THIS! When we checked out they said that taxi was 900 Rubels - average taxi in Moscow costs no more than 500 rubels - prices inflated if you charge to room. Order / pay cash! No tourist maps at reception. Breakfast was basic at best! Only thing 5 star are the prices.
