The hotel is in a very quiet area of Moscow. The Metro station (Kurskaya) is ~800m (5min) fare from the hotel. The Red Square (Ploschad' Revolyutsi) is 5 min from this metros station (with metro line number 3.). The hotel is very recomenended if you are planing to visit to Moscow for a long weekend. The Hotel is clean and quite. We were in in October and the heating had been working at that time. Therefore the nights were very comfortable and warm for us. There are a very good Mall nearby the Hotel (~300m), when you can find many eating and shopping facilities. I would like to draw everybody's atention, the staff at the reception could not speak in Englis (or just in a very basic level) so the Activity playing can be started while you are starting to check in. :) Further you must to pay 500 RUB on the spot (/ each person) as a turist tax. In addition, you can pay your reservation only in cash. All in all, I recommended the hotel due to the location and the cleanness.
Hotel is locatedmin a great area. About 5 to 8 min walk to metro and mall. And this mall has high end stores. Hell most of the malls in have high end stores. Have a translator app handy, just incase u need for hotel front desk. But check in was quick and easy for me. Gave my passport and copy of reservation. Nothing more was said but Spasibo. Breakfast you have a good variety of options if you are paying. If you got continental breakfast its, your choice of eggs, bread, yogurt and drink. They also have lunch and dinner at good prices. The room was just perfect for me. I had 2 twin beds back to back a, small table with small tv. The bathroom is small as you would expect for europe. But it was more thwn enough for me. Hot water was not a problem, just watch yourself or you might get burn. I recommend this place for your travel to Moscow.
The hotel is actually pretty ok and surprisingly in a fantastic location. Just take the blue metro line, in Kurskaya metro station (very near the hotel) and just 1 stop away, we will find yourself in the very center - red square and kremlin. The neighborhood is really really nice, beautiful, safe and lighted brightly. The hotel is clean, rooms are small but comfortable, all facilities are inside the room. The reception has one lady English speaker, who can help you with the questions and directions - keep in mind that in Russia English speaker are hard to find!! In the neighborhood, just side the metro station it's a shopping center, that has there all you might need. But most important of all , it has a supermarket (-1 floor) opened 24/7 !!! This is great!! WIFI worked perfect in each floor. For the price you pay, it was very ok. We stayed there for two night and i can really recommend it as a nice and convenient (in many ways) place to stay.
A quiet tourist hotel with no luxury. Clean, quiet, very well situated. I stayed there during the Football World Championship and still the hotel was quiet, no crowds around. Metro station is a few meters away, 10 minutes to the city center.
This place is terrible. It is very old and run down. The neighborhood is fine but it is at least at 30 min walk to get to any main attraction. There is no breakfast included. There are stains on the carpet and they look dirty. I opted not to walk around barefoot in my room. The bed in my room was extremely hard bed but there was a better bed in another member of my family’s room. The sheets and towels had suspicious stains on them. The floors are crooked so everything is slightly tilted. There is also no AC. There is no water cooler but they sell cheap bottles of water in the lobby. The WiFi works well though. In short unless you are looking for extremely budget travel, I would not recommend this place to anyone.
If you are looking for hot water, good wifi, a nice breakfast, big and comfortable rooms and nice people, you will not find any of this things in Agios "hotel". I stayed in a room that has less than 5 sqm (for two), i barely could take a hot shower and don't even think to send a picture by whatsapp with this wifi. Breakfast is quite simple..but be careful, the people that works on the restaurant can punish you if you don't follow their orders!really rude!Really basic English. The only good thing is that is not far from center by walk and metro is 5 mins walking. I've been in hostel, guest houses and hotel around all over the world and i would say this is the worst, and not even cheap!
Poor accommodation. Room is very small, beds are uncomfortable and the breakfast is dreadful. No one speaks English and the reception staff are rather rude. It was hard to find anything about the room that match the pictures on their website or booking sites. It isn’t far from metro
The hotel is very very basic. People at the reception doesn´t speak English, the room is very small and has a bad-smelling. it is 25 minutes walking from the city center and 8 minutes walking from a metro station. The breakfast is limited, you have to choose between 4 different options (for example, you can choose 1 juice, cereal, 1 slice of toast with butter and boiled eggs - that´s all).
Was surprised by many not so good reviews about this hotel. Agios is a nice and basic hotel with small but efficient rooms, with thin walls though. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable. The breakfast is basic too, reminds you of a hostel canteen. But you can order more by paying a small sum. Quality of food was also good. The staff do not speak English which could be a challenge but doesn't stop you from enjoying the place. The hotel is also walkable from the kurskaya metro station which is very good.
A nice place to stay for the price. Good location, walkable to the Red Square. The room was comfortable enough but very simple. Private bathroom. Staff were helpful but it's Moscow so don't expect a gigantic smile and fanfare like you're at the Ritz. Very convenient restaurant downstairs. Included breakfast- very big, Russian breakfasts. You could order other typical Russian stolovya fare during the day, too.
