Stayed one night. Jean checked us in and was very courteous and kind. The room was very clean and nice size. Bathroom spotless but the shower head was too low on the wall. I am 5'5" tall and i had to bend down slightly to get under it. The wall air conditioner had no markings on it as to what level we were turning it to. It cooled the room well, but was very noisy.
We stayed here on our way to the Outer Banks in NC coming from Oklahoma. We found this little hotel and glad we did. We just slept and left but the beds were comfortable and exactly what we needed! We would stay here again!
The room was very clean and comfortable. The check-in and checkout were easy and the people were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. They have handicap accessible rooms. We will come back next year.
We stayed one night for our annual trip down to North Myrtle Beach. Wanted to stop in Asheville, too so this was perfect location. Right off I 40, but quiet. Sissy at the front desk was very helpful and pleasant. Rooms were clean but definitely outdated and some worn areas but they are obviously presently upgrading as there were new furnishings in the hallway ready for installation. Close to good restaurants, had a decent breakfast included. Had a small outdoor pool but we didn't use, looked nice.
We were driving home from vacation and planning on driving straight through. Unfortunately, we ran into some rain and decided to call it a night. We had 2 options right off the highway which was Comfort Inn or a sketchy motel across the street. Obviously we picked Comfort Inn. We have never stayed with Comfort Inn. Sissy checked us in and was extremely nice. Since we weren't planning on stopping my moms cpap machine was packed and wasn't easily accessible. I asked if they had a fan available so she graciously unplugged the one from behind the desk that she was using. We kindly declined because we didn't want her to have to be uncomfortable (we would just dig it out). she insisted that we take it. It was so sweet and selfless of her. The hotel had wifi and offered breakfast. The wifi was great and the breakfast was probably the best I've had at a hotel. If we drive through again I wouldn't think twice about staying there again or any other Comfort Inn.
Chose this hotel because of the proximity to Newport Speedway. The room smelled so bad we had to go to the store and get Fabreeze to spray everything down while we were out for awhile. It did not help very much. Tub had mold all around. Breakfast area was terrible. They could not keep up with the people staying at the hotel. Everything was empty. Even the silverware was empty and we had to open cabinets below to find it. Staff no where to be found. If we find ourselves in the area again we will find somewhere else to stay.
My friend and I had a fabulous 5 day stay in Ky. for the premier Rolex eventing horses. We spent the night on the way home at The Comfort Inn Exit 432B off I-40.The room was large ,we had 2 double beds. We ate a great meal in a nearby Mexican Rest. The desk help was friendly and sweet. They had a great full breakfast . Blueberry waffles, eggs, sausage ,bacon, muffins great coffee. Off season $72!.Dollywood is 30 " away. Highly recommend this hotel!
Stayed at the comfort inn at Newport for 3 days to attend the Bristol race the hotel was clean and safe the breakfast was very good the bed was comfortable but the pillows were a little small the town of Newport is lacking on good restaurants hard to find a good place to eat
I love love love the size of the towels they have here! I always stay here when I'm in the area. The rooms are always clean and very affordable. During my last stay I woke up late and they allowed a late check out. Will be staying here again.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Check-in/out was fast and efficient. Reasonable rates. However, the rooms need updating. Our room had peeling wallpaper and well used furniture. At least the beds were comfortable. As a frequent Comfort Inn user, I'm very familiar with the breakfast offerings. Usually very predictable. Unfortunately, this one was not up the usual standard. The egg things were terrible and the sausage was greasy. Luckily there were enough other choices to make up. Bottom line: Reasonably priced. OK for a quick overnight stay on the way to somewhere else.
