This was a last minute reservation and we required accommodations that were pet friendly. The initial room we were given did not appear to have been cleaned for some time. There were cobwebs in the corners, stained bedding and linen. I was previously aware that the rooms assigned for pets were smoking rooms but the smell in the room was most unpleasant. We re3turned to the front desk with our complaints and was assigned a new room. It was an improvement but still below my personal expectations. We had no choice but to stay because the other hotels were booked. The staff was pleasant enough and cannot be blamed for the overall conditions, but a long overdue renovation is greatly needed. I cannot in good faith recommend this hotel and hope that this review willl incite a change.

We rented a room through Orbitz. Upon arrival we were told the Internet was down and we couldn't be checked in. We were told we would be called later. I was surprised the hotel didn't have a system in place to deal with such things, We had been traveling and had no idea what time we would be able to check in or if we would be able to at all. There was no offer of any kind to relocate to another hotel, compensate for our inconvenience. I asked that we not be charged in any way since we decided to just keep driving rather than wait for an undetermined amount of time however we were charged a 90 authorization fee. When I called back about this I was told this automatically came out at 6 pm (after we tried to check in) and would be reimbursed "at some point".

OK its a three-star hotel not likely to ever gain a fourth, but that is O-kay with me. Looks like the carpeting throughout could be discarded in favor of linoleum throughout. Carpet is old, rumpled and musty smelling (I'm talking about common areas, not the room itself). Good location proximity to shore trips. Sixty dollars for a Friday night room at last minute-- not a bad deal at all. I will be back!

Hotel staff very helpful. Easy access to town. Close to places we wanted to go to. Close to restaurants.

My family and I came down for a funeral so it was convient to where we needed to be.

Had a meeting in Morehead City and needed a cheap place to stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Beds were OK but not new. Bathroom is small, but clean and usable. Breakfast buffet had limited selections, but was adequate. Staff was excellent!

The first time I stayed I brought my dog because they are "pet friendly". Unfortunately no one mentioned the pet friendly rooms were also the smoking rooms so everything I owned wreaked of cigarettes by the time I left. The second time I stayed they cancelled my reservation and blamed it on the "third party booking" and left me with no room on a holiday weekend. So essentially there will not be a third time.

Room was not up to par , sheets were stained even though they had been washed , ac very noisey , carpet next to one of the beds had an area cut out of it the same size of an iron . Over all I would not be staying here again unless improvements had been done to this room . One morning in the area for breakfast the room was so hot you could hardly stand it .

Wasn't bad nor great but it was a place to stay and it had a pool.

The sstaff was great! I would be staying here all time. I loved it!

needs updated !! paid 80 but was only worth 40. Service was good but room was not.

For what I paid for the room, it was ok. We didn't spend a lot of time there, so it was worth it. We left from there and went to Beaufort, Morehead City, Atlantic Beach and Fort Macon. The room was clean. The beds were hard, so I had difficulty sleeping. The condition of the room itself needs a bit of an upgrade (the grout in the tile was cracked and the caulking was done so sloppily that it caught my eye). The shower kept changing temperatures on me. The fluorescent lighting over the sink in the bathroom was scary (it had a green tint). The pool was very clean and enjoyable. Other good things - it was a big room with a good size fridge and microwave and it's close to a grocery store so we didn't have to eat out if we didn't want to. Free wi-fi is also a bonus!

Our family went on a spur of the moment trip to the Atlantic Ocean for the weekend. [...] Days Inn hotel was in a convenient location to the beach, nice and clean room, kids loved the continental breakfast and pool.

Out stay was very inexpensive. The motel was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The Days Inn in Haveloc is very outdated and could definitely use some cosmetic work, i.e., new paint on walls, new carpeting, etc., but overall experience was A-ok.

Was there for air show. For the money, the room was clean, however there was a mix up and we were given a room allowing smoking. Hotel was full so there was no changing it. It was extremely smelly from smoke residue. Front desk personnel I came in contact with was very friendly and helpful, but some housekeeping staff were anything but.

This hotel is worth the money. The rooms are small and leave a bit to be desired. However, the rooms had a mini-fridge and a microwave. And it's only 20 minutes away from the beach and near a couple of restaurants. I had no problems with the staff, the noise, or the cleanliness. This hotel fit my needs of somewhere to sleep when I went to the beach.

wall paper falling off walls. holes in wall holes in door. wall paper then. asked for non smoking and got smoking also asked for a king bed got a single bed.

Our stay was awful! We had booked it for two nights and didn;t stay but one. The room had a horrible smell, the hallway carpet was soaking wet and smelled like cat pee! The noise from upstairs was awful also. Will never stay here again.

[...] I called the motel. A woman said they accept pets but it would be a smoking room and additioan; fee of $11.38 per day. No problem. We arrived at 12:30 am, checked in and went to park. A car with no "handicap" plate or hanger parked in "handicap" spot. I told clerk. She rousted the wrong guest who was parked properly. I went back to the desk. The clerk was unaware there was a handicap space where I needed to park! Problem resolved. They harassed me three times regarding the pet - that I didn't tell them i had a pet and I was in the wrong room for a pet. I told them (X3) that I had called and told them I had a dog. They assigned the room, not I. They beat this issue to death! I was called in room twice to remind me to pay additional fee before I left. Poor maintenance of building: Tub faucet drips (all night), headboard pulled out of wall on one side, poor cable TV reception (color sometimes, much snow), two ice machines rarely had ice, patched bedspread.

WE VISITED THE NEW AQUARIUM AND THE VILLAGE OF BEUFORT, NC. THE LOCATION AND COST WERE VERY GOOD FOR OUR NEEDS. WE ALSO HAVE A DOG AND THIS PLACE WAS VERY ACCOMODATING. WE ALSO WENT TO THE EMERALD ISLE BEACH WHICH WAS ONLY 20 MINUTES AWAY.
