Have been here several times, and it is disappointing me every time. Staff is friendly, and the bed is ok. Bathroom is small and there is no place to place your toiletries. The breakfast is a complete disappointment. Dry bake off bread and no eggs and bacon or whatever warm food. The dining room is cold and has small heatblowers standing on the floor to give a bit warmth. So better pay a few bucks more and go to one of the other hotels, if you want a nice breakfast and a little more hotel feelings.

I had this booking prior to reading the other reviews. My experience the room was very clean, large with desk and coffee table. Great view of the harbour and city. Bath room was modern and heated. Room was heated. Hotel is a little dated but fine. There is no lift/elevator. You will have to carry your bags up stairs to the first floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is near shops and restaurants. Found the area very quiet no noise. 24/7 free coffee and free wifi. Car park is small but we had a space. Breakfast is below standard of other hotels but ok. Our experience was good and would stay there again

The view of the harbour is excellent and the staff is friendly. But. The ceiling lamp had more than a few dead flies. Our room wasn't cleaned during our two nights visit. The breakfast was sub-par. I have stayed at other Comfort hotels and i am aware that they only offer the necessities. But this was below my already low expectations.

Maybe it is me that were tired and arriving late....but when I arrived the room were cold, and the room I got was not of the best standard. That I could understand since the room was rather un-expensive (about 900 NOK), but still I have over 30 nights at Choice hotels. The staff were very kind, and quick. The breakfast was OK, and there were a short distance from the hotel, to the place I should visit the day after. The TV-signal was poor, and the Wi-Fi connection not to good. Free coffee and tee is a plus. Sorry about this, but it is the truth....for me, it is important to use internet while at work.

From outside the hotel doesn't seem to have changed much since my last stay in 2007. My room was huge, bigger than your typical European hotel. It looked like it used to be a meeting room and the bathroom looked new. Breakfast started at 5am and it was very basic which was ok since I was on my way offshore. All in all it was a comfortable stay in downtown.

Hotel was clean and staff very helpful, free coffee and tea in the main area as well as chilled water. Room was clean and of a good size for a single room, shower and toilet were spotless and towels fresh and clean. No toiletries but these can be purchased from reception. Free wifi in all areas. Breakfast was of a good standard. Only complaint was noise level of the surrounding pubs and bars when people were leaving.

Staid here a few nights ago, in connection with work. I'm sorry to say that this was a terrible experience. Had to move room 3 times. If you do have to stay here, try to avoid rooms with wall to wall carpets, as they give off bad smell. The room I finally got, had initially a temperature around 35 deg C, but at least it was possible to turn of the radiator, hence getting close to normal temperature after a few hours. Other things was not up to standard as well, but I cannot mention everything here.

I received a very small room. There is no restaurant and the breakfast is better at the gas station. This was more like a motel or a bed and (close to) breakfast standard. I will not recommend this hotel, even for one night.

More like "good" than average. This is a comfortable hotel. Nothing fancy but reliable and decent for Norway. Have been here a few times and happy each time. The rooms on the water side have great views. Parking is limited and sometimes you need to find a park on the street. That's annoying. Staff are good. Breakfast typical basic Norwegian style.

Title says it all. Very nice staff. We stayed here because the other hotels in Kristiansund were all booked. (Very nice town, but hotels tend to be more busy than most because of the combination of tourists and off-shore oil business.) The room was small (granted, it was the last available room) and over-priced. The hotel a bit rundown and the breakfast not up to par. Wifi only available in lobby.
