They know they are located on a very noisy street. But they will go out of their way to be accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, the location perfect and the staff were all great.
Nice clean hotel, fantastic room, large comfortable and well looked after Good for local shopping, restaurants, bars and as a base for sight seeing Excellent breakfast and good safe on site car parking.
Excellent hotel to stay fór business. Good sized room, clean and tidy! Parking secure and cctv, Excellent Wi-Fi connection and located in the middle of the local night life. Very reasonable prices and all round service. Reception Staff were very helpful.
Old historical building. No connection with a 4-star hotel, maybe 2 and is too much .... In the lobby all work in a typical and strict way. Strict staff, room ¨118¨ was at least unacceptable. In essence, there are two rooms 118 and 119 sharing the common toilet. Space in the toilet is non-existent ...... surgical movements so you.... do not danger yourself. The Internet connection is perfect. I want and I will try to forget my stay .... a..a .. the breakfast at acceptable levels. It is your responsibility for ... to try .....
Receptionist lied about the price for staying one night. So it became 30$ more expensive then agreed on day before. Also the free parking (not even the hotels parking place) was charged on the bill when used. Rude staff, ignorant. Breakfast was good, i give them that. Room was ok, big and good value.
Hotel located in Stodolni which is the entertainment road of Ostrava and there are an untold amount of pubs and bars. Hotel is traditional style and cosy. Rooms are a bit dated but bathroom ok. Room cleaning service not great. Reception staff are really helpful and even let me use their computer for a bit when mine broke. Breakfast is good. However some pubs and the street below are busy until 3-4am so if you can't beat them you better join them! A bar in reception has a great collection of military stuff including a huge SAM hanging from the ceiling.
I stayed at the Brioni hotel for 1 night during the marketing festival in Ostrava. This is a pretty corky hotel located close to a few bars and restaurants in this very industrial city. It has a unique feel of time lapse mixed with history and retro style. It's a smoking hotel so when you walk in at the reception you can smell smoke coming from the adjacent bar. The rooms are fairly basic but not uncomfortable. The staff is friendly and breakfast quite good. I would not recommend this hotel for a family trip but for a quick night on business at a very moderate cost then the Brioni is the way to go.
Great location with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearbye. Good, friendly service at the check in counter. Unusual, fun decor in the common area, including African motifs, world war relics and a classic high ceilling dining room. Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. Recommended!
The hotel was very clean, quiet and most important thing it was in the main Stodolni street. We have been there third time with our friends to have really good party in local pubs. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
First impressions of the hotel was a throw back to the eastern bloc days of dark wood corridors and staff controlling access to corridors/rooms however peeling back the old days revealed an efficient hotel. Room facilities were good, free Wifi, TV, air conditioning all provided. Comfortable bed and plenty of room. Breakfast was buffet style and plenty to chose from each day. If you like The Beatles then you will feel at home as each morning the same CD was played during breakfast! One thing you should know is the hotel is not in the centre of Ostrava. It is located in the club district and surrounded by various nightclubs, strip clubs and restaurant/bars and gets very busy most nights. We dined in one particular restaurant and were well please with price, quality of food and service (see separate review for HUSA). Would certainly use again.
