Great location. The bar tender and his girlfriend made the stay great. They accommodated us with anything we needed. Felt extremely sorry for them because they were understaffed but they did an outstanding job. Felt the price was a little steep for no microwave, fridge or air conditioning in our room.

Close to the Tetons we got a std cabin with two queen beds. Liked the cabin. Furniture in living room as pictured. Note only the couch/sofa sleeper, no chairs except ding table. Couch was sortable which is rare with sleepers. Two things that were possible issues. First, the bedroom has no door, it is down a short hallway and the TV in the living room is faced down the hallway. So not real practical for someone to stay up late while someone is trying to sleep. Second, the queen beds were both against the outside walls with one nightstand between that was shared. No way for a person sleeping on the outside of each bed to get out unless they slid to the end or hopped over the inner sleeper. We were just two so we each took a bed.

they do not dust the blinds look like they have not been dusted in ages. I have allegies and this was just awful

Did not appreciate the pictorial misrepresentation of the property as to what it actually had to offer.

Cabins are very comfy and very good price for it

Poorly staffed - why? Because staff cannot afford to live there! Provide employees housing!

Our room view wasn't all that nice, but it's a great area. Disappointing that the restaurant was closed during our visit, but lack of staffing forced that.

The hotel was fine, although it was farther out than we had anticipated. That was on us though. The piece that knocked a couple of stars off their rating was that they are ill equipped to handle the amount of customers they currently have staying at their hotel. We arrived at ~3pm on our date of arrival. After radioing it in, they informed us that our room was not ready yet. They made it seem like they were talking to someone in the cabins way in the back but we later found out our room was right upstairs. We were with two small children who were tired so we wanted to get into our room ASAP. They said it should be ready any minute but it did not wind up being ready until ~4:30pm. They said they are understaffed for the amount of traffic they are receiving but it seemed like they easily could have prioritized the cleaning of our room. Given the remoteness of the hotel, there's not really anything else around. They did not even have a bar or restaurant open on premise until 5pm. The restaurant was good and Danny, the bartender there, was exceptional and friendly. They did not offer any breakfast at the hotel for free or for purchase. They recommended the Hatchet, which was ~10 minutes closer to the national parks and seemed like a better hotel, although we did not look at the rooms, only the premises. Needless to say, we will not be staying at Togwotee again.

The staff were so nice and accommodating. Especially the bartender Danny at the red fox saloon. Food was very good at the saloon. Only downside was that the ATV excursions and hot tubs were not open due to covid short staffing . Also only red saloon was open and not the grizzly restaurant due to short staffing but the lodge made the best of the situation. The entire area, not just this lodge is experiencing staffing shortages. Still a very good experience . The cabins were very comfortable.

Very clean and friendly. A little dated but overall pleasant stay.

No cell phone signal, on-site restaurant closed with no forewarning prior to arrival (next nearest option was 8 miles away), no coffee maker in the cabin, no coffee cups in the cabin (front desk said they removed them in the summer), and the fireplace is not really a fireplace (it’s a fake fireplace with an electric heater that blows warm air from the top of it and lights up in the bottom). For $250 per night, there are much better options in Jackson city.

This lodge is in the middle of the forest, with not much around. They have onsite restaurants, a gas station, general store and gift shop so that is super helpful. Food was very good at the bar and the restaurant had a great buffet breakfast in the morning. Prices were very reasonable. Very friendly service. Was only there one night but would have been fun to spend more time there- they have horse riding and cookouts for an extra cost. Only compliant was that the noise from people walking on the floor above was pretty loud- may be more disruptive if there for multiple nights. Overall, good stay. You do have to watch out for beers but the front desk warns you about that.

Check in was great as we had 8 bikers in 4 rooms that arrived at different times during the afternoon. Bre is awesome! Rooms in the main lodge have air conditioning, which is nice in the summertime. We were assigned cabins in the back, which don't have A/C. Evening was a bit warm, but cooled down overnight. The cabin was clean and spacious. Didn't use the small kitchenette, but see that this would be nice if staying a week in the winter. Dinner was rough. Too few servers and couldn't get food orders correct. One guy got sick from his burger. The bar-man was very friendly. Breakfast was much better as its a buffet. Price was a bit high for overall value, but considering it is the closest hotel to Yellowstone's south entrance, it fit our needs. From stories we heard, its more a destination for winter vacation with plenty of snow-mobiling.
