Hotel is located w/in walking distance to metro, grocery store, money exchange store, restaurants, and museums. What attracted us was the proximity to metro and continental breakfast!

I originally booked with Orbitz when I only needed 1 room for 2 people. Then 3 additional family members wanted to go so the hotel accommodated the change by putting us in a 2 bedroom suite that was perfect for the 5 of us. They have a nice indoor pool and a roof top where I had my coffee in the morning and just took in the awesome views. Their continental breakfast was just right and the room was large with no problem finding a place to sit.

The hotel is located on a busy street, pedestrians, bicycles and autos. Parking, for an reasonable charge, is across the street in a tight multistory underground lot. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the Redpath and McCord museums, and the art museum is about a 20 minute walk. There are many restaurants nearby, though we ate only at the art museum. There are two Metro stops about five blocks each from the hotel on the same line. Montreal is traffic choked much of the time, so the Metro has a great advantage in getting around. We used it for the botanical gardens, truly beautiful, and the old city. We found several places in the old city that had good meals for reasonable prices; we ate the evening meal in our room. The room was large and had a small kitchen. The bathroom was comfortably roomy. The room was quiet; we didn't get any noise from neighboring rooms, and they all had balconies. An ample continental breakfast was included in our rental. The staff was friendly and fluently multilingual. Montreal was filled with friendly people. We are obviously older people, and a number of younger riders on the Metro offered us their seats.

Hotel felt like a dorm room with small kitchen. Bed was on the small side. As was the bathroom. No bathrobes. Small bath towels. Most irritating was the wait for the two small elevators. The hotel needs 2 more. LServiceable for a stay near McGill and downtown but won't be back. Relatively pricy at $200, which is what we are paying for a much nicer room today in NYC at the Helmsley Park Lane.

The people on the counter weren't prepared to give to guests accurate informations .

It's all about the location and not expenssive.... It's 3 star hotel but not disappointing...

This is a great hotel in a great location. Staff is very courteous. It's within walking distance of everything. Indoor pool, rooftop patio, and dry sauna are a plus! And plenty of food for breakfast.

The room had a kitchenette, which is a nice touch. Comfortable bed, and decent location. The walls are somewhat thin, but otherwise no real complaints. The location is convenient, but 1-1.5 km from Old Montreal near the waterfront.

Very clean rooms. Close to Metros and walking distance to Old Montreal.

overall very good the girl on the night shift was very very helpful and called Carmel Car Service for me which alleviated my anxiety and i could enjoy the rest of the evening the guys in the afternoon were not willing to go that extra mile

I stayed over 9 days with my family and honestly the first thing we noticed was how nice the staff were. I need to thank all of them for their help and politeness and understanding. The suite was clean and comfortable and the beds and furniture were OK except the sofa bed which wasn't the best one. I didn't bother to ask them to change, perhaps I had to. Anyway, the suite was good enough for us. The only thing that I'd like to share with you was the breakfast buffet. Although, all nice staff were trying their best to provide the best service, the breakfast salon was extremely small and kind of disorganized. For instance, you got stuck behind people who were toasting their bread or grabbing their coffees and you could easily be hit by someone else’s tray. I think with a better arrangement and organization, they can solve this issue because that is a bad drawback. Some days were that awful that I didn't even go to the salon and went to Tim Hortons.

Our stay in Montreal was enhanced by the knowledgable staff at L'Appartement. Great recommendations were given for everything we inquired about: restaurants, sightseeing, transportation. Received a quick response when I asked for a room fan and to have the heat turned off. Good amenities in the kitchenette. Loved having an ottoman with the comfy chair! Lighting was good in the room and in the bath. Great to have in/out parking right across the street.

We were visiting Montreal to see McGill University, which is on my daughters short list of preferred universities. The room was clean and quiet; the kitchen small, but very usable. (Both my daughters have food allergies, so we prefer to cook some meals, as eating out is a challenge. There was a grocery store a couple of blocks away.) The hotel is on a busy noisy street, but the windows were well sound proofed, so the noise was not bad. We could not figure out the temperature control in the room, so it was a bit warm, but not enough of a problem to ask for help. The breakfast room was pleasant and the breakfast buffet tasty. We didn't swim, but the pool on the 16th floor looked clean and well maintained and had great views. The neighborhood seemed safe, had a variety of shops and cafes, and good bus lines; the Metro was not far away either. All in all, not luxurious, but a very nice place to stay.

We couldn't have asked for a better shot-in-the-dark booking than L'Appartment. Stay here if you want to be within a 10 minute walk of everything in Montreal. We went in blind, booking last minute and not knowing what we'd get: the location was on point, the room was perfect for me and my husband with a full kitchen and bath, queen sized bed and balcony, not to mention maid service and a Continental Breakfast every day. Only down side were little sugar ants in the bathroom to greet you every time and one roach in the kitchen sink (though none of it was horrible enough to complain about to the staff). Again, location was phenomenal - we walked EVERYWHERE, if you like the outdoors go to Mt. Royal and enjoy! Restaurants and food and clubs and kareoke and *full contact* strip clubs are all amazing and close by.

excellent location near the Mc Gill University , very friendly staff.....highly recommended

Staying at L' Appartement Hotel was a nice experience. It is located in the heart of Montreal. It is close to the shops, Metro and buses. The receptionists are very accommodating. They will provide you with the help/information you need. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The penthouse/pool area is very quaint and peaceful. The free Wi-Fi is definitely a major plus. As it was the complimentary continental breakfast. Breakfast items were diverse, abundant and fresh. I recommend this hotel to couple, singles, and family for it provides with comfort and practicality travelers look for.
