Overall, the room was clean and pleasant. I also appreciated their efforts to provide a solid continental breakfast, as advertised, even with COVID. I would have had no problem with the decision to not enter guests' rooms during their stay unless requested--another COVID mitigation, and one that makes sense--but we weren't told at check-in and were unpleasantly surprised when we returned to the room late in the afternoon to find our trash and dirty towels still there (and bed unmade, but not as big a deal.)
We've been staying here for years and the property has been continually under renovation. They're working on it, but its taking them quite a while to accomplish it. But the rooms were clean and we had a remodeled room. And the beds were great! Very comfortable.
Our south facing room faced a beautiful woods and lake.
The hotel was clean, very comfortable and hospitable. The rooms with studio living were great for family visiting.
liked the handicap room set up. tv did not work 1st night. had a mouse in my room. fire alarm went for no reason

The motel would have been alright had it not been for ants all over the room. We had to go through all of our things before leaving to make sure we weren't taking any with us. Also, the bathroom door wouldn't lock. We were very disappointed and will not stay again.
