This was a very quiet hotel in Monteverde
Overall, staff was accommodating. Expect only the basics from this hotel, beyond the incredible view (if the clouds are less dense during your stay). Staff speak limited English so a bit difficult to work through them on recommendations and tours/accommodations. Almost no tour companies would pick/drop us off at this hotel because it's really in another city and too far out of their way/ opposite direction from the main tour attractions and too far from where bulk of where tourists actually stay. I could also hear my neighbors through a thin wall. It doesn't look like they too many guests at a time so depending on what you're looking for, this may be a good hotel option for you. We are in our mid 30s and are pretty active and did a lot of the tours/adventures and didn't rent a car, so in hindsight, we would've rather stayed at a hotel closer to town (Monteverde).
Great experience. The breakfast was very tasty. The hotel was a bit hard to find but very peaceful location.
Very far away from everything. No good directions to find the location. View is spoiled by empty vacant building. New construction but sewer/sceptic tank smell from sink/shower after use. Neighbors could be heard easily. Definitely do not stay downstairs. The beds were comfortable. The rooms are almost brand new.
