Good hotel for reasonable price close to Fishman wharf. Good breakfast, convenient parking. Room was clean and good size. Check-in and out was very fast and easy

Great location, super clean comfortable very large room, breakfast was very convenient. Only downfall not enough parking

My grand-daughter and I stayed there for two nights, primarily to spend an entire day at the Monterey Aquarium. We walked the two miles there since the trolley didn't begin operating until 10 am and we wanted to get there earlier. Several family restaurants close by. Reasonable rates, free parking. e

We stayed here when in town for the Big Sur marathon. It was an excellent location--close to marathon events, as well as historical places of interest, Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row, and the Monterey downtown area. It was an easy drive to Salinas, Point Lobos, and Big Sur. If you need more than the regular room amenities, free parking, and a sufficient continental breakfast, this isn't your best choice. But overall, it was perfect for our needs. My one complaint is that during mornings, the office was either locked or unattended. The proprietor apparent lives in a connecting building and is not always focused on guests, either arriving, departing, or with questions. I asked if there wasn't some way to notify the management when someone came in, like a bell or something. She said, no, they didn't have one but thanks for the suggestion. It was strange. But overall, the room was very clean served our purposes well.

This is a typical, older motel/motor lodge type place but you couldn't beat the price for California. It was clean and the breakfast was fine (the room was crowded but we took our food back to the room). The manager was very friendly and helpful -thank you! Good tip: buy your Monterey Bay Aquarium tickets at the hotel and it's good for 2 days.

We found this hotel on here and was very pleased. Close to everything. Comfortable beds. Nice breakfast. Only draw backs was the elevator is very slow. And they had the wrong hours posted in the info book for the hot tub had planned to go and enjoy that when we got there only they had the hours saying 9-9 yet on the door it said 10-10. But other wise I would recommend this place to anyone.

The stay I enjoyed because of the views. The bad part was the breakfast. I booked the hotel only for the views and breakfast. And I did t enjoy breakfast. It was very packed in the room and not much to offer.

Stayed in beautiful suite, electric color changing fireplace, large in room jacuzzi. Generous breakfast included. Walking was a short distance to plenty of eating options and to the Golden State Theatre.

Our room was detached from the rest of the bldg except on the top. It was recently remodeled, clean, roomy, handicapped friendly. The breakfast was good. Close to everything we were doing. Staff was very nice & accomadating.

Adequate accommodations. Nice management. Good location. Decent, fair price

Room was clean, that's the good part. Very noisy with unruly children running back and forth (we were on 2nd floor) throughout the night. May take a village but starts with parents. Walls very thin, shower next room sounded like ours. Not much sleep. Chose another place

The hotel was comfortable and attractive. Staff was pleasant & helpful. We had a great time in Monterey where we visited & explored Fisherman's Wharf & Cannery Row. We also went through Chinatown & San Francisco & to Carmel Beach where we also explored many of the stores in town. We did so much in such a short time. It was beautiful and amazingly fun!

The hotel was awesome. Right up the street from downtown Monterey.

The day we were to check in the power was out in the Monterey and it was out at the Days Inn we booked however, they had a sister hotel down the street which had power. The manager was nice enough to rebook us for the same rate at that hotel. The staff was all very friendly and the location is within walking distance to downtown, Del Monte Mall and great restaurants.

Hotel was decent. Nice big room. Clean. Location was great. The customer service was terrible. Reception was rude and anything but helpful.

Great room for the price, comfortable and the staff was so curtious. Will definatley stay there again.

Check in was easy, staff was helpful, room was clean, we enjoyed our stay

I had a very pleasant time. The manager was so nice, he let me in the room way before check in time. The people next to me were a little noisy, but it was not so bad. I liked to proximity to downtown. I would recommend this hotel and I will be staying there next time I go to Monterey.

I need a room for a one night stay for a conference and found the hotel. A great location and a simple room and a great value.

Good location and Acceptable breakfast for the price. The service is just okay, rigid in some way!
