Staff was friendly and food was delicious. Rooms were lovely and clean overall a good place for adults

I must say my stay was a bit disappointing, Club Ambiance is advertised as all-inclusive but I don't understand how they define all-inclusive. Their selection of food is scarce and timely, forget about being hungry after-hours and getting something to eat. I've stayed at a variety of all-inclusive hotels globally and I must say they should advertised with better verbiage. Despite the food was not fulfilling the hotel on a whole is out-dated. Great scenery, such as ocean view but scarce with people. If you are looking for a spot that offers seclusion, privacy, and you don't care much about food, then this is your spot. Keep in mind there are no shops close by so driving would be a necessity. For the most part the staff is somewhat friendly, but for the price I would do a bit more comparison when I make my selection. Hope this helps, happy travels!

This hotel has seen better days. Its WiFi was only available at the front desk, there are no amenities, yet the staff was surprisingly friendly and courteous.

Well it is not much of a resort . Small pool/beach. Drinks were okay. Food was GREAT!!! I had a great time visiting Ochos rios now that is a great tourist location. Overall Jamaica was beautiful

We stayed there on 2 previous occasions a few years ago and it was a very good value. They've changed owners, the place is run down, the staff is not happy with the new ownership and it shows, the food is horrible and scarce, the open bar is limited and the pool bar was closed. The only thing that worked well was the free internet but only worked in the lobby.

If you are coming to the Caribbean to see the Caribbean and spend time on the beach then this isn't the resort for you because all you'll see here is a rock wall and have very little beach to enjoy. The food was just so-so and hardly any choices. Breakfast was the best meal of the day but that made us sick. We spent more time in our room than anywhere else. They advertise several restaurants, bars, activities, and Wi-Fi in the rooms but only 1 restaurant exists and only 1 bar was open activities consisted of playing dominoes at the bar and Wi-fi was only accessible in the non air conditioned lobby area. Night time entertainment was very disappointing as well. I stayed ar rhis resord for 4 nights and 2 of the night's entertainment were Karaoke. Who wants Karaoke on vacation? We want to be entertained not forced to listen tone deaf drunks at the only bar operating on the resort. The only thing I really enjoyed about this place was the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, and the safety of the resort. Would not recommend to friends and family.

The hotel was lovely and the staff was friendly. Room was very clean and they offered a wide variety of food with both international and local spin. They had several activities that one could engage in. There was a pool and also a small beach one could swim and enjoy the sun. Will definitely visit again.

This was a great choice for my needs. Flew into Montego Bay and it was very easy to get a shuttle to the resort. The hotel itself really needs some updates on furnishings and paint. The lobby furniture looks run down and makes an awful first impression. Furnishings in the rooms also older but clean and comfortable. I was there off season and had the beaches and pool mostly to myself which just fine with me. The staff where wonderful, friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The pool and beach areas wonderful. It is small but well maintained .The food was great and always something I liked on the buffet. I had some segments of the trip where I was alone but felt safe at all times. The staff especially Christopher was so nice and chatted often with me . Down side was WiFi only in the lobby. In the room it could nice to have at least something to drink (bottled water or juice) in the fridge as it a very hot environment. The other down side was if you want food outside of the normal meal times. The food to order was very limited.

We chose this resort for price, and we had stayed there previously about 7 years ago. This place has gone down immensely. We were told they have a new owner. Same food every day. (Chicken) and they would run out. Although staff was great they are limited on what they can do. There were only 25 guests tops. Bar was barely stocked, activities are cut down because of lack of guests. Only one bar was open and not near the pool. Plus our room wasn't ready when we got there even though no guests were there.

It was a really nice place to relax and the staff are very nice its really far from the airport but it was a good drive to view more the island.

Very friendly staff hotel ..was a little rundown rooms were not clean, bed was uncomfortable, food was not good and the same thing served every day.staff and customer service was extremely wonderful they are the ones that made my trip somewhat enjoyable. The management most of all sucks and is very unhelpful resolving issues concerning customers. Would never stay at this hotel or recommend it to anyone.

The resort is in need of updating/modernization. A huge negative is the lack of a walkable beach. I had to walk to the public beach, about a 1/2 mile away, to walk on the beach. Difficult to schedule excursions from here. I thought I could just sign up na go but instead had to find others to travel there to meet a minimum number of participants. I was traveling alone so that was not easy to do. My television stopped working. Told front desk staff who said they would send someone to my room. They never did. They ran out of alcohol at the one and only bar. Ran out of pina colada mix, wine, etc. Beach chairs are in poor condition...uncomfortable...very old. Staff was friendly. Food was okay. I like to sample the local cuisine. Very little of this.

My stay at club ambiance was great .its a very nice hotel.I would go back☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

The hotel didn't offer enough day activities. The menus was very basic, not really a variety of foods. The person who schedules outside activities was late to work everyday and a month show on some days.

It isn't a fancy place, but it has everything and very peaceful. It doesn't have the busy traffic like those large hotels. The stuff feed you drinks nonstop and remember your name. I didn't stay in the hotel all day and went to tours, so it's all good.

From the moment I arrived I felt catered to. I checked in an hour ahead of check-in, was warmly greeted by the staff I saw, and met with a cool beverage while they sent for someone who would carry my bags and escort me to my room. My only knocks on the hotel was my king-sized bed wasn't as comfortable as my bed at home and the AC worked but didn't blow hard. Other than that, it was ALL INCLUSIVE! I used the workout facility, wifi, ate, and drank for free from morning until night. The food was AMAZING! The bartenders who made me drinks from 10 am to 2 am were FANTASTIC! There were activities planned for those not leaving the resort, board games, pool, kayaking, peddle boats, live band, guest interaction activities, patwa class, etc. My friends and I did a few bike tours to the caves and a few beaches. There is a nightclub in the resort but leaving and finding nightlife elsewhere was easy between talking to the staff and taking suggestions from the locals. Jamaicans are THE COOLEST/MOST FRIENDLY/GENUINE people I ever met. Every person I ran across was just as friendly as the staff at the resort. If I hadn't told everyone I was holding a bbq the day after my return at my house I would've definitely extended my stay.

Came here to relax, and that I did. Staff nice, food pretty good, just wish they would serve more jamaican dishes.

The location is great since its on the strip of Runaway Bay, near everything and short drive to Ocho Rios. (Side note:Visit margaritaville!!!) The staff is really nice and made my staff comfortable. The amenities, well actually **EVERYTHING** needs to be renovated. Everything is out of date such as the game room, dining room and every single bar. However, this resort is not for someone in my age group (25- 30) The nude beach was an interesting experience unfortunately, the view of the geriatric bodies were unappealing. My guest and I made the best of every situation; We just minded our business and enjoyed the sun. Although our dining room server, Julia was great. I will not be returning to this resort when I revisit Jamaica nor do I recommend this for anyone under 30 years of age.

I actually didnt even get to stay here, I booked the hotel and when I got here the person at the front desk said my name wasnt on the reservation list...But my credit card was charged though. Apparently the manager doesnt give the staff access to the reservations. I wasted 160 USD to take a airport taxi to this hotel only for them to fumble the reservation. On top of that cancelling took an act of God because even though the hotel was wrong, I still had to wait on the phone altogether for a total of 3 hours with the travel agency and this hotel to get my refund.

I had a fab time.. the place is quiet reserve and just peaceful and calm not like the major chain hotels.
