Traveling with elderly with intense thunderstorm approaching. Googled nearby hotels to wait out storm - actually several waves of storms. La Quinta was our pick and it was a pleasant surprise. Staff so friendly it was like coming home to good neighbors. Breakfast was another surprise. They did have bagels and muffins but also biscuits, eggs, sausage, grits, and gravy. Southern girls home. The unexpected, unplanned overnight stay was budget friendly and truly a happy accident. Will stay again.

Keep up the good work. Everything was great. Great staff and awesome breakfast.

The hotel was very clean, friendly staff. Bed comfrtable and the room was clean. The only thing is it smelt a little humid when walking into the room, but once I put on the AC it was fine. Fully recommend staying here, especially if you are just passing through Alabama.

It was very nice close to where needed to be and staff was very good and would recommended it to friends and family

The Good: The room and bed were comfortable. The A/C worked well, and the room had many amenities (refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and iron). Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, gravy, hot cereals, a variety of biscuits, breads and cereals & a waffle maker. Juices, milk, coffee and a Keurig for teas were all available. The Not so Good: One of our towels had a large hole in it, so we got another from the front desk. We found 2 pieces of cat food in our room (one on the counter in the bathroom and one on the carpeted floor in the room), and we found some cat litter on the floor under the sink in the bathroom. Even though I'm allergic to cats, I didn't notice any hair, smell or allergens in the room - thank goodness. Overall: We would stay there again - it was close to shopping, eating & the major roadways, and it was cleaner than many places we've stayed. The price was good, and it met our expectations.

We were on our way home to TX from FL and needed a pet friendly place to stay the night. La Quinta's can be hit or miss, and this one was decent. Our room could've been a little cleaner, but overall it was decent for the price, and we love that they never charge a pet fee.

We stay at a lot of La Quintas because we travel with a small dog. This property was better than most and I really liked the location and the staff. We arrived with an immediate need to use a computer with a printer, which was available, but was different from the one we were used to. The night clerk helped us and was very knowledgable. She later recommended a really nice restaurant which was close by. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was better than average. We would happily stay again.

This was a great place to stay. The location was great next to the interstate.

Very nice place to stay. Had everything for a comfortable stay.

Although it was a bit confusing to find, once we arrived, all was well. My family of 4 was exhausted from a long day of driving & just wanted a good night's sleep. We were greeted by a very pleasant & helpful desk clerk. Parking was tight & the lot was almost full, but once we got into our room, all was well. It was quite spacious, very clean (a stray hair on the side of the tub in the bathroom dropped it down from immaculate), & the 2 queen beds were very comfortable. There seemed to be many commercial businesses in the area to eat & shop. We were sorry we had just one night to stay. The microwave & refrigerator in the room were a nice addition, as was a filling & mostly healthy breakfast.

Definitely would stay here again!! Room was very nice Pool/hot tub was a nice amenity after a long trip Breakfast was a full on buffet with excellent food and sevice. Price was good. We will be back....

Hotel was great. Don't particularly like being in a hotel with pets.

We drove from south florida to Austin Tx. to visit my daughter. This hotel was about midway and it is right off I-10. The hotel is new looking. very clean and the room was perfectly kept. We traveled with our dog and this LaQuinta always welcomes pets with no add'l charge. They greeted us with a little yappy hour with free beer and snacks before we called it a night. Highly recommend this particular LaQuinta as some seem to have aged somewhat. This one appears new.

We made a trip to visit family in Mobile. This was a perfect location to stay as it was near their home as well as many eating places close by. We will absolutely stay here again. Rooms were nice and the breakfast was great. Great staff.

Nice facility. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disorganized... Seemed like they had trouble keeping the hot foods available, Waffle maker didn't work correctly. But very friendly staff and welcoming environment. Would stay here again.

My stay was from 1/13-1/17. I switch from another hotel to this one the day I arrived in mobile. I am glad I did. The staff was friendly and helped me with directions around town. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable just like my bed at home. Had no problems falling asleep at night. The breakfast selection was just what I needed each morning. Overall experience was great and I will stay here again the next time I am in Mobile.

Clean clean clean! !! Staff was fabulous! !! I loved everything about my stay! !

After being shown to a room that was already occupied, thankfully the occupants were out, and we backed out quickly, we were shown our room. It was clean, and cool, but we had a bad start. Our check in lady was not very nice, and after she apologized often to my family every time she saw us, I felt somewhat better. We had to have a blanket changed that had a stain, but overall it was a clean room. The breakfast was fine. The price could have been better for all the trouble. We will probably not stay here again.

Three of my girl friends and I stayed in a room here for a weekend trip to Dauphin Island. We felt very safe in the hotel and surrounding area which was conveniently located right off the interstate and down the street from a gas station and numerous restaurants as well as a grocery store. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub, pool, super comfy beds, and free hot breakfast. I'd stay here again any time I was in the area.

We only stayed one night but it was as good as it gets. Staff was very helpful and amenities were great. The lady running the continental breakfast bar was SUPER! I noticed she went out of her way to be friendly while at the same time keep the breakfast bar well equipped. GREAT EMPLOYEE the motel chain should be thankful for her. The only negatives I notice were the need for more luggage carts and the one elevator stayed very busy. Overall it was great stay!
