Stayed there on a weekend night and the room wasn't clean when I arrived at 10 at night. Super nice staff but looked shorthanded.
Hotel hallway had a musty smell. Bathroom was nasty (there was a dead roach in the tub) Staff was friendly, experienced and informative!
I took my little boy on a few day vacation away from home with the hopes of relaxing by the pool.. when we signed in we were informed the pool was broken. It was the main reason other than price that I choose this hotel. I couldn't afford to go to another hotel so we went ahead and stayed. You would think that you would get a discount or something for being so disappointed but no. Try explaining that to a disappointed 6 year old!
For some reason the hotel smells weird but the rooms don't!...staff was very friendly. Not somewhere I would stay for an extended period of time though
Our experience at Econo Lodge Tillmans Corner Room 104 was horrible. We arrived during a rain storm. All other hotels were sold out in the area and we were stuck. We slept in our clothes and showered in our flip flops. Rust in and around the bath tub. We booked a room for 4, only 2 wash clothes available after requesting, which did not arrive until the next morning after a 2nd request - had to use hand towels. Thank God the sheets were clean. I can't believe a travel website would affiliate with such a run down property. The online pictures are very deceiving.
IT WAS WONDERING THE EMPLOYEES WHERE NICE, AND HELPFUL WITH ANY ASSI. THAT WE NEEDED
My family and I booked this room for 2 nights w/[...].The beds were small but tolerable. The fridge was broken and all of our food ruined since they didn't bring in a new 1 until the 2nd evening of our stay.I took a shower 2 get ready 4 an appointment when I realized the hairdryer didn't work,I was late due to the fact that I had to wait for my husband to get me 1.My children were restless the entire stay being couped up in such a small room without a working t.v.Parking was very far away from the frontdoor and the room we were in.They say they have continental breakfast but it consists of cheerios and orange juice. It was an overall unpleasant stay, even for the price.I don't plan to go back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
