Rubys Inn & Convention Center

This was a horrible room. There was mold in the bathroom and the room was very outdated. Originally booked for 2 nights but canceled second night and moved to another motel. Hotel staff didn't care why we were canceling

We liked the hotel but the noise was an issue. For the price we may try another hotel to have newer, thicker walls. Everything else was fine but I'm not sure that we would recommend this to others. The breakfast and little extras really helped. (Popcorn/coffee)

I wish we had a microwave n mini kitchen in our room but other that that room was very comfortable n very clean

Could really use some updating but great variety for breakfast

Our rig broke down outside Deer Lodge about 100 miles away. After arriving with the towing guy, we had our Tahoe dropped off in the lot of Ruby's. It was after midnight with a tired & weary young daughter. Room was clean with a nice view of the creek and wooded area with a bench. They had a nice pool outside that my ladies enjoyed whilst Firestone repaired our ride. Beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. Big place with above average bfast buffet that's included with your stay.. Used to stay at the Quality Inn down the way, which is good. However, Ruby's sold us this time. Will always stay there when we head to the Great Yellowstone and Grand Tetons.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great with lots of convenient restaurants and gas stations. It was a very cool day and evening but the out door hot tub was wonderful.

It was great - clean rooms, friendly staff. The breakfast wasn't as awesome as I had heard, but it was good.

Just needed a place for one night. Was better than expected for the price I payed. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The service was very friendly. They had a serving of soup in the evening which was delicious and the breakfast was the best we have ever seen - better than a four-star motel.

I liked Ruby's its older style room but they are comfortable.. I would stay here again.

Average clean motel, but dated. Reasonable price For what you get. The breakfast is the best of Hotel/motel. Would stay again.

We needed a place to stay while we dropped our son off at the University of Montana. From the outside Ruby's may look like an average motel but the inside is so much more. The room size was great (two king beds) and a full bath with a separate sink outside the bath area allowed us to spread out. The picnic area and stream behind the building was a peaceful place to eat and spend some quality time. The daily breakfast was great and the popcorn and tea/lemonade in the evening was a treat. The airport shuttle runs 24 hours a day.Talk about clean, they vacuumed the carpet around the pool and the front driveway.

Everything about this hotel was great except for the slow internet. The best motel breakfasts I have experienced, great corned beef hash. Plenty of ice. Good TV. Many nearby restaurants.

The room was awesome thank you. i will be back soon..

Staff was very friendly. Motel was very quite at night so good for sleeping. Nice grassy area with benches by river in quiet area behind the hotel with horseshoe pit.

We wanted a room without spending alot, yet with a breakfast. The motel is older, but clean and well managed. Breakfast was one of the best we have had at a Motel. The staff was very helpful and waited on us to make sure we had what we needed. Would stay there again, close to shopping etc.

Cons: bed is a little on the firm side, no fridge or microwave in the room Pros: clean room, convenient location, extremely friendly staff (goes that extra mile to make you feel welcome), fantastic continental breakfast with biscuits and gravy and sausage and lots more choices, pet friendly, close to a lot of shopping, the freeway, and great places to eat, many updates in the older building (like flat screen tv's, free wi-fi, hair dryer, ironing board), quiet, nice lobby and continental breakfast area, family oriented, parking for larger vehicles or trailers, hot showers with good water pressure, and did I mention the friendly staff! All in all, we will definitely stay here again. The owner is a nice older lady that was there for breakfast with her husband. Still actively checking on her quests, it was apparent to me that her first concern was the customer, and providing value with a smile. Having stayed at many hotels, this was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time.

Hotel is in a convenient location, with access to the interstate, restaurants, and shopping. Friendly staff, free WiFi, a nice complimentary hot breakfast, and a small business center that was perfect for printing out our boarding passes. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing that may turn someone off is that the doors are outside, more motel than hotel.

Nice motel with clean room and great breakfast. Close to the interstate.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but our room (f2k) had been refurbed, was very large, had a nice view of the creek, and even had two sinks. Pool was being cleaned in the morning as we were checking out (always reassuring), breakfast was very good and breakfast staff was friendly. Give it a chance. Lots of bang for the buck.
