The experience was very authentic period living. Easy access and convenient to all of Nauvoo, easy parking.
Great host and beautiful property, worth the experience
The best thing, which dominated everything else, were the hosts, David and Barbara Parker. The are the perfect inn keepers; kind, warm, friendly--even loving. When you conjure up an image of the perfect set of grandparents--it is the Parkers.
The mansion is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is amazing!! David takes you through the mansion on a guided tour after a scrumptious breakfast and tells the history of this old gem! The courtyard is beautiful with a sparkling clean pool! We’re definitely going back! And as to the paranormal...I ...
If you wanted a mid eighteen hundreds experience this is the place. Located in the heart of Natchez. The room was large and appointed in typical 1800s furniture. Only downside there is no elevator, so if you have trouble navigating stairs this could be a problem. All in all it was a great ...
Inn keeper , Robert, has an interesting story he tells about the history of the mansion
Beautiful place to stay. View of the Mississippi river, quiet little town other than the train. Great service, we would fit sure come stay again.
We really liked the big room - exactly like the photo, it was clean and unique. We loved having a fire in the working fireplace. There was free pop and wine and fresh baked brownies right outside our door. There was some scaffolding at the entrance, but once inside it was fine. Unfortunately we had ...
It was a very pretty B&B. It included the bed but NO Breakfast unless you wanted to pay an extra $15 per meal. NO housekeeping during our 4 day stay. No clean towels or anything. Not cool. It was a very odd stay. Fortunately, we had a busy schedule and weren't in our room much.
Book a bed and breakfast in Mississippi River
A romantic getaway awaits when you book a bed and breakfast in Mississippi River. The beauty of renting a B&B is that each one is unique. A farm B&B is cozy and rustic, while a luxury B&B provides top-of-the-line luxuries, including in-room jet tubs and thousand thread-count sheets. And let’s not forget the most important part of its name…breakfast! Bed & breakfasts are famous for putting out a great spread each morning. Fill your plate with fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, hot eggs right from the pan, and a cup of hot coffee to help get you ready for the rest of your day.
All are welcome at Mississippi River bed n breakfasts
Some cheap accommodations are designed to simply give travelers a roof overhead and a comfortable bed to sleep on between adventures or business meetings. This definitely isn’t the case with a bed and breakfast (also known as a breakfast inn). The right B&B doesn’t just host your vacation to Mississippi River, it becomes part of it. In many cases, travelers get to know the manager of the B&B, as well as mingle with other guests. Many B&Bs also arrange activities for guests, such as hikes in the area, bird watching outings, or fun game nights.
B&B hotels have a reputation as a romantic retreat for couples. However, B&Bs are actually for all sorts of travelers. Book one with a parent, child, or your favorite travel buddy.
