A beautiful classic home and welcomimg owners made our stay one we will repeat. Beautifully restored house with modern updated and unique historic pieces, and great stories to compliment it all. Jim & Carol are great Minot, North Dakota folks. (pronounced My Knot we learned in a great local brew house recommended by Jim)

We just stayed 1 night for a wedding in town and wanted to experience the place we had driven by often. Inside was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was superb!!! will be satying there again sometime in the future.

Three of us stayed here on a weekend. We had two rooms, both were lovely. Jim and Carol are very nice and the breakfasts were excellent, especially the strawberry French toast. They have plenty of public space, including much of the third floor. We look forward to returning to this B&B.

Beautiful B&B. I was there for just a brief time and they were great. I’ll definitely be returning! Breakfast was amazing and the room was comfy. I’ve never been to Minot before and this was a great introduction.

I cant say enough about the wonderful visit we had at this B&B. We planned on staying 3 nights, but requested an extra night as we just didnt want to leave. Such a great value and the room and breakfast were just fantastic. Best B&B value I have stayed at and my wife and I do alot of them. Fantastic hosts and look forward to many future stays the at Dakota Rose.

We stayed four nights during the Hostfest in the Garden Room. Room is pleasant and very spacious. Hosts were very accommodating of my husband's gluten sensitivity when preparing breakfasts. We enjoyed meeting others who were guests at the time and enjoyed the homemade hot breakfasts. Every evening we came back to our room to find homemade treats, a nice personal touch. It is not a big deal but it might have been nice to have a choice of time for breakfast rather than just being told it is at 9 am which for us is late and didn't allow the option of getting to the Hostfest for the first hour.( You could have had a sack lunch of a muffin and fruit but that doesn't compare to the hot breakfast they served.)

My wife and I stayed in the Garden Room, which was both spacious and comfortable, as was the ensuite bathroom and shower. The highlight of our visit was time spent with our hosts, Jim and Carol Carr, who provided us with information on local history, nearby attractions and restaurants. Carol prepared a sumptuous breakfast in the morning before our departure. Highly recommended!

We stayed here over the weekend for the hostfest. Even though we are originally from Minot, we had never stayed here until we moved and now came back to visit. Our room was lovely, and the breakfast served was amazing. We met so many wonderful people, and can't wait to stay here again.

Two night stay and an opportunity for two breakfast. What a lovely decorated home. Enjoy the antique furniture, hats, photos. Unfortunately the floors were damage in a flood in 2011 and had to be replaced with beautiful hardwood but lost some of the authenticity.

My husband and I stayed four nights at this charming century old home. Spacious room, comfortable bed, large bathroom with stall shower, plenty of hot water with strong spray. Breakfasts were delicious, generous portions. Accommodations were made for dietary restrictions. Our hosts, Jim and Carol, welcomed us as family. After a long day out or an evening in the parlor playing cards we found a sweet treat in our room. Felt just like home.
