Continental breakfast was the worst I’ve ever seen. Everything else was great !!

Very large property and the room was nicer than expected based off of price. The women were super friendly and nice when I checked in.
Very disappointing. Room was in a dank basement next to a busy highway. Rug was stained and torn. Breakfast was minimal.

Our check in Christmas Eve was perfect! we arrived later after our family christmas @ around 11:30. She was super pleasant and made sure we knew where everything was and all the amenities available. Our Check out, however, was less than pleasant. Don't get me wrong, i understand working on Christmas Day isn't what one really wants to do but you are so, how about making the best of it. We asked if we could pay cash instead of leaving the bill on our credit card and instead of explaining in a friendly manner that since we booked through Orbitz we had to leave it on the credit card we booked it under, she was pretty much rude. i then asked if i could get a reciept, and again instead of choosing some customer friendly words to explain that wasn't possible either, she was rude! either way, your hotel was being compensated so she didn't do your hotel any favors with her rudeness. We loved your hotel and will stay there again but this soured our Christmas a bit!
Loved the balcony and the lake view. Quiet property. No kids. Will definitely go back.

The Pointe is a wonderful property! Our room was So large and even had an electric fireplace. We enjoyed the view of the lake and the comfortable bed. We were looking for a relaxing weekend in Minocqua and it could not have been better thanks to our stay at The Pointe!
The room included separate living room, dining room seating, kitchenet and balcony seating for two. Out night stay was like a home away from home. Thank you
The room I had, a one bedroom condo, had a (locked) door to a connected room. Since the door wasn't sound proof, I could hear sounds, even conversations through the door. Presumably, they could hear me as well. The staff said they could not move me because I had booked through Orbitz. The breakfast provided was so-so and uses lots of non-recyclable or reusable items (plastic cups and spoons, styrofoam plates, etc.). I would like to see them try to reduce waste in this regards.

Thank you for your review. We serve the food we can get consistently to provide one. Our breakfast is just that continental. There is no hot food, and other items we have tries to provide unfortunately get taken at such great quantities that we run out in a day. Our breakfast includes milk, orange juice, coffee, muffins, English muffins, apples, make your own waffles and eggs. I would encourage you to contact the hotel and give your input as to what you'd like to see and it continue to be complimentary.

Hi Spencer,Thank you for telling us about your experience. We reviewed the reservation and noted it was booked on Orbitz, part of Expedia Group. Unfortunately, Expedia limits the descriptions lodging properties can provide, but we do specify the highway adjacent location of this room style. Recently our studio units have seen many upgrades, but we are aware of the mark on the new carpeting. It’s unfortunately a burn where a previous guest dropped a hot iron, and we’re actively work on getting it replaced. Our COVID policies are still in place and we reevaluate them frequently, however, with in-room trays provided, guest are welcome to take breakfast back to their room. No guest has to go outside as the entire hotel is connected. I hope you will give us another try and would suggest booking a One Bedroom condo style next time. Thank you!
