Sheraton Minneapolis Midtown Hotel

3.5 out of 5.0

Hotel has nice rooms with a nice bar/restaurant combo. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only complaint is that one of the waiters in the restaurant always tries to have a political discussion. I'm on vacation and just want to enjoy my meal or drink.

Went here for a sports event and it wasn't too far from down town. It's clean, the staff was very friendly, and the pool was nice. I've read reviews about the neighborhood but it isn't that bad. Please, it's maybe working class but not bad at all. I'll stay here again!

Hotel staff went above and beyond to help me with whatever I needed. They were all awesome

I have never encountered SO MANY RUDE employees, especially the front desk. The courtesy shuttle doesn't go all the way to the airport, which is Ridiculous. The shuttle drive on Sat. evening, could not organize rides downtown, he was totally inept. Attitude is everything is this place has a BAD ATTITUDE. Also, the hotel was dirty and the carpet was awful.

My family member was having surgery at Abbott Northwestern Hospital and the hotel was very nice, it was connected to the hospital and had a skywalk and didn't even have to walk outside to get to my hotel room. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Star were. Dry friendly. Got. Card with the cell number of the shuttle driver to call when ready to return to the hotel after our concert.

Need to go to the market across the street from the hotel.

The manager of the hotel would not reimburse Orbitz (me) when I had to leave a day early due to my husband's illness. I understand why there are no refund policies but there should be some flexibility. I planned to stay there many more times since I have a two year project in Minneapolis but I will not stay at this hotel again.

Great hotel. Bed in room 300 is too used in right side. Great staff rooms really clean.

Overall nice hotel. Front desk personnel was friendly and knowledgable. Hall carpet was stained and tired but our room was clean and comfortable. Somehow housekeeping missed our room during our stay; no fresh towels, made beds or overall tidying. Not a big deal so we didn't call. Great workout room! I would recommend upgrading their mats. Neighborhood seems fringy but great location. Easy to get to downtown St. Paul and downtown Minneapolis, as well as the airport.

The staff was super friendly, from the front desk to the maintenance to the bartender. The lady vacuuming the hallway stopped to say hi to us. The room was very clean, the bathroom was spotless. The location is awesome! Right next to the tram, Global Market (we got Taco Cat delivery -- it took 15 minutes & was awesome) & lots of things to do. Stay here!

I'm from Minneapolis and really like this location. Easy to reach airport to downtown, plus the great marketplace next door it's like going global for gifts and meals. Plus the price is right! Staff is great. If you want an intimate hotel its on the top of my list.

We really want to thank you for the reasonable rates next to Abbott.

This is a nice place and very close to the hospital. We've stayed her twice and will go back when needed.

This hotel is in a BAD neighborhood. There was a panhandler who looked cracked out just in front of the hotel. I decided against staying here because my safety is imminently more important than saving a few dollars. NOTE: I did not stay, so my ratings are not relevant (but I had to fill them in in order to write this review).

Wonderful stay great location for what I wanted. Staff were terrrefic and very welcoming

The location of the hotel isn't great, but they do offer a free shuttle to anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. NO FRIDGE in room for long term travelers.

Had we have been charged less, I probably would consider staying at this hotel again. For two nights our bill came to over $250-they also charged us $22/night for parking 2 cars. It is located in a not-so-nice part of town, but there is a bus depot on the premises. The room was small but clean and the bed was very comfortable. I wouldn't pay more than $100/night total for this room.

Hotel is in a convenient location. About 10 minuted from downtown. Just outside the hotel is a bus station. The hotel is great to get to by rail link. Get off at the Lake transit station; take bus 21 to the hotel. The hotel has transportation to and from for events downtown.

This was the closest hotel to the memorial service we were attending. The room is clean. We needed extra towels which took a half hour. The neighborhood isn't the best, but it is up and coming. The bathroom doors are elegant French doors, but there are no locks on them.
