Beds need replaced, showers need to work, had to move room's way too much noise.
For the money it gets 5 stars. It was close to where we needed to be and $40 less than anywhere else that was close
There was some construction going on so at least some of this hotel will be improved soon. But overall, it was not a very good experience. The pool area looks like something out of a nightmare. Flourescent lighting and no place to sit. And it just didn't smell good. We stuck our noses into the pool area but didn't go in. The room was ok, but needs a makeover. The shower was strange. And the room didn't smell too good either when we arrived. The bed was ok. There are a lot of choices in the area - not for this price - it is cheap. But don't expect much.
Close to sports venue in Maple Grove, but this is an older hotel. Stayed here twice for convenient location but won't again. Room not clean.
Clean basic room. Old tired hotel. It's a good deal, for the right price.
Price and location are why I stayed there. It was clean and quiet. Would've liked a refrigerator in the room, but other than that I was satisfied.
The hot tub made me itch... It looked disgusting. The pool was cleaner but still dirty. Rooms was clean. but they never had enough towels...
The hotel needs work. Paint on walls were chipped, broken tiles in the room and down the hallway. Overall the hotel needs to be renovated. My kids wanted to swim which was fine but no towels in the pool area. Had to run to the front desk to get them. Then the kids wanted to go into the hot tub, however it was cool water. Pool area needs paint and tiles replaced as well. Breakfast was sufficient and met our needs. Our main reason for staying was that we had a dog and it's pet friendly. There was designated pet areas so that was great for him!
It was a very nice and quick stay to see my first born Grandchild,and my wife and I are very happy with the rooms and service we've had at various La Quinta locations around the country,and this stay was right along with those other experiences. The only thing that we found to be a bit of a problem was the morning breakfast was really lacking. Other than that,we look forward to our next La Quinta stay in 2 weeks in Springfield,Missouri!!

Bads are very hard. Staff was very nice. There was a baseball tournament going on so there were lots of kids running around.
Good: Nice appointments in lobby, corridors and dining area. Modern and stylish appearance. Neat and clean. Comfortable bed; nice, large, modern fridge; decent microwave; wide screen TV, our room only had a shower but, it was rather large and I really like their orange sherbet shampoo; quiet room - did not hear noises from the hallway or adjacent rooms; rather large breakfast area (only open for two hours: 7am - 9am) with good coffee, caffeinated and decaffeinated (available 24 hrs.!), two waffle makers (good thing: most people seem to want to use them and one would never do), four selections of cold cereal, milk, orange and apple juice, oranges and apples (no bananas), biscuits and gravy, egg patties (sorry: no sausages or bacon, I really missed having some); well maintained pool and good sized whirl-pool. Free complimentary paper, even on Sundays. Not So Good: Pillows were all very firm and thick - uncomfortable for both my wife and I. I recommend that you bring your own pillow. They were very good back rests for watching TV though! Plumbing fixtures are dated: Chrome is worn off, and this reminds me that I'm in a 2-star hotel. The beds are on solid wooden platforms but, I don't want to see them and be reminded that the hotel has cut costs. Conclusion: The staff is friendly and helpful. This is a well designed hotel with most all of the creature-comforts that will assure a comfortable and pleasant stay.
I had no problems with the hotel. Room was a little small but fine for my purposes.
I've stayed at several other local hotels, and this is clearly the best value in the area. Clean, helpful staff, and quiet.
The front desk clerk was very friendly, but otherwise, an ordinary experience.
Breakfast was included, which is always nice. Not great, but definitely better than just cereal. The pillows/blankets were musty, but otherwise, everything was very nice.
We stay at this hotel frequently when we visit family in MSP. On the last trip,my wife accidently left behind an expensive new pair of slacks and a blouse hanging on a hook on the bathroom door. When we called the next morning, nothing could be found, nobody knew anything and the hotel was unwilling to do anything about it. Presumably, one of the cleaning staff had taken it. Although it was clearly our fault that something had been left behind, I had expected a more positive effort on the part of the hotel to do something about it. The incident left a very bad taste in our mouths; we won't be staying there again.
The hotel was very clean. The young man that greeted us at the front desk was very nice. Our room was clean. The next morning we went down for breakfast and had a very nice selection of breakfast items to choose from. It was very clean. At check out the lady was very nice also. Would come back to this motel. The cost was reasonable.
Overall a good experience. The beds were a little too firm, but the rest of the room was fine. Very pleased with the variety of choices at breakfast. Previous La Quinta Inns we have stayed at in other states had less variety. We do plan on staying at this location again in the future when visiting this area.
