Suffered an injury before arriving quite late. The staff went way beyond the call of duty in the care they provided.

We stayed overnight between connecting flights. Our room was clean and fresh, the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They offered to carry our luggage up the stairs to the second floor. We've stayed here several times, and we will continue to do so. We enjoy their breakfast, which has several options, including some protein. The only negative was that we had requested a first floor room when we booked online with Orbitz.com, but we didn't get that.

They've "kinked" the hose on updating this facility - smells musty; corners, molding, carpets, tubs are worn. Upon arrival my key cards would not open the door on my first room assignment. The room I did get had water seep onto the floor the next morning from an adjoining room, by night when I returned it smelled foul. I was assigned another room, but it had not yet been serviced. The fourth room was OK but didn't have a refrigerator as claimed, so my food was stored in the commercial coolers down stairs until one could be brought to the room the next day. Breakfasts were minimal, one juice, waffles, cereal and SOS (that needed help - don't think anyone took that leap). No real butter, no milk for coffee. The staff were always helpful but lacked the skills of hospitality professionals. All in all the facility feels "sad".

Close to airport and Mall of America. We had a double bed when we should have had a Queen.

Old building and room. One hangar in closet. Strange looking guests. Laughable breakfast.

No elevators, horrible parking. The carpet and bathrooms are old and worn out, the whole is place is dark and dismal.

Rooms and staff we good, breakfast was not so good. Used to eggs and some sort of meat. Biscuits and gravel not so good.

As Stated this was not a vacation, we were there for a medical procedure for my wife. The staff especially the shuttle drivers were very helpful. The hotel left a lot to be desired.

More than adequate. Clean friendly and efficient

Noisy hallway and breakfast not worth it. Was adequate but would not stay there again .

I was apprehensive about staying at this hotel. With the Ryder Cup it was hard to find a hotel at last minute. But I was impressed with this La Quinta, the rooms were very nice and the location was great. I had booked a king bed, but staff was able to give me two double beds. Very pleased with this hotel.

Stayed here one evening as I had a formal event to attend at University of Minnesota and all hotels were booked solid due to the Ryder Cup. It's okay; for the price I paid ($170.00 a night for two people), it was NOT worth it. Continental breakfast had the typical items, the hotel staff had a hard time keeping it stocked. Parking was an issue as the hotel being sold out, also evidently shares spaces with the adjacent Culvers. There's no elevator, so guests with disability issues should specify first floor. We had a king room and it was clean, shower worked well, had coffee maker, refrigerator & microwave. I was not pleased that LaQuinta refused to honor my AAA card, and include my LaQuinta rewards on my reservation. I am assuming that when the Super Bowl comes to Minneapolis in 2018 all these hotels will price gouge customers and not give you a thing extra for doubling the rate.

hotel in general needs a complete redo carpets were stained and torn in places, the mattresses were terrible and need replacing ASAP. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times and the maids kept everything clean in spite of everything being old.

Quiet, comfortable room. Bed was well used. good breakfast offerings.

Musty, dank room. Dark, Beat up furniture, Bed linen stained and Coverlet had a cigarette burn! Had to return three(!) times to the front desk as key was not being read by door. Smoke alarm backup battery beeping low. Never again!

Pros: Close to Airport and Free Shuttle. Cons: Not handicapped accessible. Room was dirty. The entire upper level hallway to my room smelled like pot. Breakfast was not ready by 6:00am.

Depressing room, small & dark, one squeaky plastic- or Naugahyde-upholstered chair, one small window. Weak light bulbs. One light burned out on arrival. Small bathroom. Needs electrical sockets. No elevator, which wasn't on website. Tiny lobby. Way too pricey low quality. Normal cleanliness.

The lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful. The hallway smelled like cigarettes, but our room didn't. The room was just what we needed, and although some of the furniture was a little worn, everything was sturdy, comfortable and functional. We didn't have a TV remote in the room when we arrived, but the staff brought us one right away. The shuttle to and from the airport was very convenient, although we had some issues with it the morning we left. We called down to the front desk and asked for a shuttle at 5am. We arrived in the lobby at 5:01am and there was no shuttle. I agree, we were late, and the shuttle had already left. My issue is the lady at the front desk was very cold and said, "Next time we ask that you please arrive 5 minutes early so the shuttle can leave on time." Perhaps this would have been something she should have told us when we called for the shuttle, and clearly the shuttle did leave on time because we were only a minute late. Regardless, our overall experience was good except for the lady at the front desk when we left.

No elevator - long walks from the end of the aisles to the front desk Rather expensive for what you receive.

A very dirty room. Not bad up when I got in. They had to put me in another room. Very nosey ac unit. The breakfast was cold and stale.
