Excellent staff and service but the facilities seem rather old and dated.

The room was dirty, the staff incompetent. It sucked

location and amenities are good and diligent personnel.

Location was good. Hotel rooms badly in need of updating and repair. Also dirty.

Terrible experience! The room was so hot that we had to open the sliding door in the middle of winter - and turn on the AC too. Every day at 8:30 am we were welcomed with construction noise within the hotel. There were no movies to rent, and no refrigerator in the room. The front desk people were ok - but two of them need to find another job. They were very rude. The only bright spot was room service. The food was good, and the service was quick.

Bed was very hard, and pillows like rocks. The air system was so loud we had to turn it off - got quite cold.

Great hotel- staff was very friendly. Would stay there again. Very clean and it was close to the US Bank stadium.

Super convenient location. Friendly staff. We will stay again.

Location, location, location. This hotel was a very short walking distance to the hotel that was home base for a conference I was attending. It also was only a 5 min. walk to the Light Rail Transit system which covers most of Minneapolis, provides a convenient and inexpensive ride to and from the airport, and into St. Paul where I went with friends to visit the Art Museum at the U. of Minnesota. The staff were exceptionally helpful, the Concierge directing me to the Skyway, an indoor walking route covering most of downtown Minneapolis, as an alternative to a taxi on a rainy day. I arrived at the hotel at 11 a.m. and was able to have an early check-in since my room was available. The room was immaculate, the climate control worked, elevators from the lobby required a keycard to go up, a safety factor that as a woman alone appreciated. The food at the on site restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. I can recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in downtown Minneapolis.

Location was good. Rooms dirty and stinky. Moved rooms and the room was still full of dust and dirt. Bathroom had rust and grime.

Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Breakfast vouchers worked great for your choice of full breakfasts from their restaurant. Rooms are good sized, but bathrooms are smallish--pedistal sink. No refrigerator--which is important to us.

It went very well. The hotel was nice but I’m a little irritated at Orbitz forcing me to add a narrative

Paper thin walls. The room next door was up most of the night and very loud. Made repeated calls to the front desk. No help. I paid for the room thru Orbitz but I found the charge on my credit card. Had to cal them to get it removed.

Hotel allowed unauthorized people into my room. Do not stay here! Worst and most traumatic experience. Never trusting this IHG and Crownplaza brand.

The room I reserved was labeled, KING BED ROOM WITH A CITY VIEW. Well, when the hotel is in the city, and it has windows, every room is a city view room! No skyline view, just windows from the building across the street. Plus I realize that EVERY HOTEL I STAY AT DOWNTOWN, PUTS ME RIGHT NEXT TO THE BUSY, LOUD ELEVATORS WHEN BOOKING THRU ORBITS, HOTWIRE, OR ANY OTHER DISCOUNT SITE. EVERY SINGLE TIME! You don't even really save much thru these sites, but when you get a discounted room, you can bet you will be placed in the least desired room guaranteed! This hotel does not validate for parking, but if you park there, drive a car. No truck, no van. The clearance is only 6.5 ft. The stress of driving thru this lot is incredible!! When you have your hand above your truck, feeling around to see if the ceiling that has a ton of scrape marks, is gonna hit your roof, you will see what I mean! So if you stay here, book right thru the hotel, ask not to be placed next to the elevator, and forget the discounted sites!

I am very sorry to hear about the concerns with your stay. Please feel free to call the hotel and ask for the MOD if you are willing to give us more information about your visit. We always want to learn from poor guest experiences. Our housekeeping consistently does a wonderful job with the rooms and service is usually on point with our front of the house associates. I am very sorry to hear about your experience. This is certainly not the type of experience we had envisioned for you. Our maintenance team is usually pretty talented when it comes to HVAC concerns. While we do not have pay per view movies, we can have deliver fridges to you as they are available upon request. The front desk poor service is unacceptable. We will look into and address immediately. We hope you consider staying again, and appreciate the feedback as it can only assist us in becoming a better hotel. Happy holidays and warmest regards...
