Great hotel to stay at clean with friendly service. The loss of a star is due to the bed being as hard as a board.
We only had two towels in our room, no hand towels or wash clothes. There were no towels in the pool area and when we asked the front desk for towels it took forever. There was some nasty stuff floating in the hot tub and our room had a strange odor
I like the location .. the room was clean .. breakfast was basic, but hit the spot I've stayed here before and will continue to do so
Hole in the wall with tissue stuffed in. Back door unlocked for anyone to come in without key. TV did not work correctly with blurry lines and could not shut off, had to unplug. Internet was terrible, no security, kept buffering and nothing would load. Dead bug found in bed when woke up which makes me think they didn’t was sheets. I know it was only a 2 star hotel but figured it would have been better. On the plus side is was convenient location for me to go to MN State Fair park and ride. Pool and hot tub was nice.

Mascara on pillow cases. Stains on sheets. Dirty bedding in cupboard. Bandaid on remote keeping batteries in. I did not feel comfortable staying here. I went and bought my own bedding to use during the stay and checked out a day early.
False advertising. It has been about a year and a 1/2 since the pandemic started and this hotel has not bothered to update it's listing to say that they no longer serve breakfast. They advertise it very heavily and then we get there to find out they provide absolutely nothing for breakfast. It is dishonest.
My room was filthy. Toilet had urine on seat & bowl, all linens were wrinkled and bed was sunken in the middle. Manager said they were short staffed and housekeeping was just trained. No excuse in this day and age of Covid.
The motel is is a lovely area and a great place for walks away from highly commercial areas, but a close drive to them. Motel itself was fine. Because of Covid, breakfast was given in a bag and was identical every morning. The hot tub was barely warm, but again maybe because there were so few visitors to use it. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful.
The room was not very clean. The vending machines were empty. I have stayed here before & was very disappointed this time.
Staff was super friendly. The hotel was small and quite. Enjoyable stay.
This hotel is not one at which I would choose to stay again. My room had a distinct odor to it when I entered. The curtains had a hole in them, the roll-away bed we requested had a blanket that also had a hole in it. Overall a no.

AmericInn Lodge and Suites is good place to stay for our class reunion weekend. Staff were very courteous and helped us by moving our room to be closer to our good friend, who spent the night there, too.
Convenient access to the interstate but still quiet. Very happy.
I can't say anything bad! They exceeded my expectations in every way. I'm not a nit picker, so anything i would say negatively would be just that. It's not a boutique hotel, it's a clean, comfortable hotel, that did a great job!!
