    Calm/quiet historical stay

The house/ mansion is very well kept given how long it’s been standing and in use. The staff was very friendly. I should’ve assumed, but I didn’t realize we’d be sharing a bathroom, which made it a little less comfortable. And the house was extremely quiet so you can hear anyone walking around or using the restroom ect. (Our room was right next door to the restroom.)

    Historic Experience with Wonderful Staff

The owners and staff always make us feel so very welcome and appreciated at this historic air b n b mansion. For less than the price of a downtown hotel we can walk to Loring Park or The Walker Art Institute and Sculpture Garden. 300 Clifton is a destination stay in and of itself, as you can walk freely throughout the gracious mansion, carriage house, and grounds. Complete with wonderful flowers, shrubs, a reflection pond continaing coy fish and two adorable ducks, the grounds and porch patio area are perfect for reading, relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee with friends and family. We have stayed in a different room each visit, which has been five times. All were clean and comfortable, inviting and unique. Be sure to check out the hidden doorway room in the carriage house , the whimsical duck house and the sauna. We always spend long relaxing mornings enjoying complimentary coffee , bagels, fruit and juice on the grand patio or in the stately dining room. During autumn and winter we sink into an oversized leather chair in front of a wood burning fireplace. Yes, our family reccomends the Crystal Mansion at 300 Clifton Place. Why stay at a cookie cutter hotel/motel when you can have a truly unique experience?
