The people who work there were wonderful! The desk clerks, the security guard... all really super, nice, helpful, cheerful, and doing a great job. The hotel itself had some pretty rough people staying there. Also, the building was a little rundown and damaged.
First we have keys for room that was already taken and check the rules to make sure that they are available but we got one wasn’t very clean. Someone obviously lives in one of the other rooms and was yelling.
My Orbitz reservation was not recognized by the property. We ended up calling around to find another hotel after midnight and ended up driving 75 minutes to Madison. Horrible experience.

Remodeled and not like it used to be.
The property is dirty and in disarray. The hallways smell like cigarette smoke, there are toilet plungers laying around the halls, the elevators are broken, the room toilets were not cleaned, overall it is a very poorly managed hotel. Check in was disorganized and took a very long time, the room key had to be reset each day because it would not work each new day.
The front desk guy is very nice and helpful!
Some of my outlets and lights didn't work. The blankets were super thin. Someone pounded on my door in the middle of the night to tell me my car lights were on. They were an employee and I appreciated them telling me but I wish they had just called or knocked quietly. The coffee machine wouldn't turn off when I used it downstairs in the lobby area and the coffee went all over the floor. A worker eventually came but didn't offer any apology or offer to get a new coffee. I think people should get discounts for these issues. For one night though, it was fine for me but longterm this place seems to have a lot of problems that add up.
The staff was on point but the room was filthy. I mean FILTHY! Broken tiles on bathroom floor making it hazardous when going to the bathroom. We did not take off our shoes! Blankets had burn holes everywhere! They allowed vagrants to beg in the elevator and follow you out to the car. Marijuana usage in front of the entryway. Marijuana smell through out building.
Someone was in my room while I was out and unscrewed the lock on the door.
Check in was smooth but the staff is unprofessional. The room was dirty as the tables & counters had drink spots and food crumbs. It’s obvious they don’t care about spreading COVID. The bed headboard was falling off the wall. Smh
comfortable, clean, staff went out of there way to find a tub stopper.
