La Quinta Inn Milwaukee Airport/Oak Creek

This is a no-frills hotel but is an excellent choice for those needing something close to the airport and also needing a hotel that accepts pets. We had two cats & two adults needing a shuttle to the airport at 5 a.m. The shuttle was no problem and the driver was incredibly friendly for that time in the morning. Our cats were welcomed with no extra fee. There was a 10.00 fee per cat for the shuttle. All in all an excellent stay.

Find somewhere else. The staff was decent The rooms were in great need of updates The beds were uncomfortable. The room smelled of mold and didn't notice until the second night that there was black mold on the ceiling above the air-conditioner. After Seeing the mold we packed our bags and went to another hotel for the remaining two nights. I checked reviews before going to this place and they seem better than the star bridge but couldn't have been more disappointed. We were limited by nearby availability to a nearby hospital where our mother was having surgery.

I'm a regular La Quinta customer, but this site was not quite as good as usual. Room was clean and comfortable but, the breakfast not as robust as at others, and I was very disappointed about the proximity of the smoking area - right by the main entrance! -isn't that completely counter to the point/benefit of it being a non-smoking hotel??

Very clean and very quiet. The only thing I would recommend is to replace their mattresses. Mattresses in mine and my daughter's room next door were very marginal.

This hotel was clean, the location was decent. I struggled to find parking, and had to park farther away and then walk to the hotel. The wifi was also very slow.

I just needed a reasonably priced room for a short notice trip. The hotel was exactly what I needed. The staff was excellent. The facility was clean and in good condition.

The staff was courteous and you can't beat the proximity to the airport for a quick in-n-out.

We are business travelers and had an excellent stay at thus hotel. The room was clean and fresh and the staff were very accommodating. The bed was a very comfortable pillow top. We will gladly book again.

Our stay was better than my parents, who had a non-smoking room which smelled like smoke. They had to have the room fumigated in order to continue to sleep there. My brother's stay was also at the same time, he arrived at 3:40 and was told his room was not ready yet- even though check-in time is 3:00. That's frustrating. My husband and I upgraded to an executive room and were pleased with the extra space in comparison to my brother's and my parents rooms, which were small and musty smelling. The biggest beef I had was the curtains did not close all the way, and light from a very bright street light seeped in the room, making it difficult to sleep. My husband finally had to take the ironing board and prop it up against the curtains to get them to close and block out the light. In addition, when we arrived at 3:00pm on Saturday, there were three people out front drinking and smoking. While this is not really that big of a deal, I think this speaks volumes for the quality of the hotel. The staff at check-in were friendly enough but it took a long time to check-in and then we were told our room might not be ready yet (it was though)- even though it was after check-in time. Others weren't so lucky and had to wait.

Comfortable but price doesn't include keeping your car at hotel for more than 1 night. Extra fee for that.

Clean, comfortable, quiet...nothing to complain about!

The bed was soft and comfortable. The free breakfast was very good. Would stay there again no doubt.

We found our room to be very clean and overall, for being close to the airport, a quiet place too. I thought the bed was comfortable, my husband was just so-so on it. We did not have the breakfast so can't comment on that. We would stay here again.

It was and staff was friendly. The selections of shows on TV were very limited especially if you are staying with children.

The room was very small. The floor had stains all over the carpet and the customer service was very short with us while checking in. I thought it would be a better experience.

my only real complaint was housekeeping did not make their daily routine for changing bed sheets and bringing in clean towels and washcloths, I don't like sleeping in a bed that has the same sheets for more than a day & I had to shower with the same wash cloth & towels as well. I had to ask for towels and washcloths and I informed the desk clerk about this yesterday when I checked out.

Overall, I had a wonderful time in Milwaukee. The room was clean and the staff at La Quinta were very nice.

we needed to stay somewhere for one night until our hotel in downtown was ready for us. This filled the bill fine.

Convenient, clean. Only negative was the bathroom towels; they were too thin and appeared to be old, thought they were going to tear. Other than that everything was good, especially for the price.

Staff was great they assisted in helping with every need from food to transportation to and from airport.
