We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Aeolis. It's a family-run hotel & we were made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the door. The owners are friendly, warm & extremely helpful. The room was impeccably clean & very comfortable. It's in a great location - walking distance from the harbour, various shops, supermarkets & restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
Hotel Aeolis is a very nice hotel on a quiet street. The room is quite large and very comfortable. There is s small balcony. It is kept very clean. The breakfast is extra but well worth the money. The owners are very pleasant and helpful.
Our fourth (or fifth?) visit to Aeolis Hotel. As ever a great welcome from Nicos and Pothiti. Shared their family Easter celebrations with us again and made us just feel at home! Recommended every time.
From the moment we walked into the Aeolis hotel, we knew we got lucky. George (our receptionist and the son of the owner) went above and beyond familiarizing us with the island and outfitting us with a rental car within minutes. It's as if we had a tour guide! The whole atmosphere and ambience of the hotel was light, clean, and breezy: just what you'd imagine a slice of heaven by the sea would be. George's mother, Eithia (I'm sure I've said and spelled this wrong) was very kind and sweet, offering us free coffee and little Greek lessons whenever we went in and out through the lobby. She recommended a psarotaverna in Pollonia is that resulted in one of the best meals we had in Greece for an outrageously good deal. The hotel's location is perfect: close to the center of Adamas, but just far away enough to remain secluded and quiet. We can't say enough good stuff about this lovely family run establishment. Stay here and see for yourself!
We stayed here on a whirlwind trip through Milos. The hotel was pleasant and had what we needed - comfortable room, small balcony although not much to see, simple bathroom, small kitchenette. The service was warm, friendly, and helpful. We appreciated a large bottle of water when we checked in late. I wish there was a bar at the hotel that we could have purchased some wine from. The location was okay, convenient but not fantastic. Overall, it served its purpose and was comfortable. I wish we spent more time in Milos.
We have just left hotel Aeolis today and we absolutely loved it! Only a short walk into the port town of Adamas (5mins walking) where you can access shops and restaurants. Our room at hotel Aeolis was modern, clean and huge! Definitely good value for money. The owners are lovely and friendly, and very helpful (thanks for dropping us at the port!) I would definitely stay here again if we return to Milos! Thanks, Josie and Josh Clifford.
The Hotel Aeolis is well-placed, being slightly removed from the noisy centre of Adhamas, but within a five-minute walk of the waterside tavernas and cafes and an easy 10-minute walk of the ferry quay. If you have a (hire) car, parking outside is easy. Incidentally it is 100 metres from the Giourgas Rent-A-Car offices, whom I have now used twice and found honest, reliable, and competitively-priced. Aeolis is a small, impeccably-run family hotel. This is not a luxury or 'boutique' (currently an over-used descriptor in the islands, now indicating as far as I can tell only that the doors and windows are painted taupe) hotel, but, by Aegean standards, it delivers creature comforts: the rooms are a decent size (I can speak for Room 8 on the first floor and Room 5, a family room, on the ground floor); there are plenty of power sockets; the rooms seem freshly painted each season; and - bliss! - there are proper shower enclosures. In short, everything is as it should be and everything works. I suspect that this is because, rather than targeting solely the tourist trade, Aeolis is open all year round and also caters for the many business travellers who come to the island in connection with the thriving mining/quarrying industry. Overall, a solid, sensible choice, and I certainly know of no better alternative in Adhamas.
We stayed for 9 nights at Aeolis Hotel, couple with teenage son. The hotel is extremely good value. The room we had for 3 persons was spacious , very clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was good quality with very good shower. There was a nice balcony with a clothes line and nice furniture to sit out. Air conditioning was included. TV had a great range of programmes and WiFi was excellent at all times. The best thing was the friendly hosts who gave us lots of useful advice about Milos, for example best beaches, nice restaurants. There was a kitchen area with full size fridge, kettle and basic cooking equipment. The service was extremely good, clean towels every day and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely go there again and recommend it highly.
We arrived in Adamas from Athens and went to the port for a drink and snack. Were welcomed in best Greek fashion by Zac at Zygos (The Hunter) who telephoned Nicos at Aeolis to give us a lift but he was not there. We got a taxi and when we arrived were welcomed by the lady of the house who told us they were full for the first two nights we wanted to stay so we went to Anaznias down the road for two nights where we made equally welcome and then went back to the Aeolis for the rest of our stay. Easter treats given to us in both places and the warmest of welcomes. Even to being invited to spend Easter Sunday family celebrations at Aeolis. What an honour we were accorded. As usual, Milos, Adamas, Aeolis, Anazenias, Zygos, Flisvos, etc., etc., lived up to and beyond all our expectations. We love you all.
