Our room was much more than a room. It was huge! It was actually an efficiency apartment with a large bedroom with three beds! Overkill for just the two of us, but it was nice to have so much room. Irina and Alex are a young couple from Bulgaria who have settled in Ireland after stints in France and England, and it seems they are here to stay. Their courage is inspiring, their warmth endearing. The location is perfect, with an amazing view of the coast. It would be a perfect place to stay for the Willie Clancy Festival in Miltown Malbay. We had breakfast and dinner, and culinary-trained Alex delivered delicious meals on both occasions. The two went out of their way to accommodate two very weary travelers just arrived in the country.

Miltown Malbay is a short and inexpensive cab ride away for night time festivities. hotel staffed helped us book taxi. Would recommend to friends and family. Great spot to explore Clare.
