Great experience overall. Would recommend to fellow travelers. Order the Kensington from the bar if you are there. Decor was pretty incredible. Check in staff was a bit slow but I think that is typical Italian style. Very flexible check out times.

It was the reviews from tripadviso which led me to book and could not be more satisfied. Although I do not believe it is a chain hotel, their attention to detail and overall branding is very strong. Every aspect of the room was thought carefully to the fullest, from the complimentary minibar to amenities. The bar is very cool and as a smoker it was a relief to have a common space where I could light one up. Room was spacious and most of all - CLEAN! Great location too. See you soon :)

It’s a shame you can’t attach sound files to reviews... it’s past midnight on a weekend trip to Milan, desperately trying to get some sleep. Incredibly disappointing, such a promising hotel & ambiance to have the weekend completely ruined by the hotel looking to make some extra money allowing live bands / parties in the bar. Good hotel but don’t expect to get any sleep before 2am!

Assumed that we were in for a somewhat unique hotel experience when we booked, and was surely not disappointed. Nice rooms, each with a theme of its own, a friendly staff and good breakfast. Wholeheartedly recommended!

5 stars for the design, atmosphere and location as many noted breakfast could be more ambitious, but no big deal real issue is that several rooms (ours was number 1) are on the ground floor, very close to the (large and noisy) bar and lounge area. As long as you're at the bar, it's very enjoyable. But the room's soundproofing is non existant, so don't expect to sleep before 1.30 on a busy day...

I enjoyed hotel yard very much. It’s one of the stylish hotel I have ever been. The room was great, the location was perfect and the service was tremendously good. I highly recommend staying in your visit in Milan.

Our first time in Milan and although we had heard Milan is really expensive we were determined to find an affordable, minimum *** hotel centrally located. THE YARD is easily a **** plus hotel. Fabulous location in the trendy Navigli district and a short walk from the most amazing fashion district including the most beautiful mall in the world, the Galleria Vittorio Emmanuel II. Each of the 32 rooms is themed with with memorabilia from a specific sport and they are stunning. Steamer trunks and and antique LV suitcases are carefully placed through the public areas. So much to look at! Note the service and staff are thoroughly professional, warm and welcoming and there is a wonderful restaurant as well. Definitely a winner😎

Great hotel. Very cool. Would be helpful to have info in the room about how things work like the safe etc. Some things had a bit too much wear and tear but overall very good hotel and I would stay again

We chose this hotel based on reviews on Trip Advisor and because we like Boutique Hotels and we were not disappointed. We were assigned the Rugby Room. Very apt as my husband is a fan. The location is great within walking distance of the main sights. As previously mentioned it was like being in an antique shop-so much to browse in every area however there was nothing antique about the facilities or the cleanliness. They were top quality. The breakfast was nice but by 3rd day we would have liked a bit more choice-perhaps an egg choice would be good. The most striking thing about this hotel aside from the above is the friendly helpful staff in all areas of the hotel. The receptionist recommended lovely restaurants which added to our enjoyment. One small quibble is the price of drinks at the bar. I could see it was a night club environment but maybe a discount for residents! Overall a great place to stay if u want to get away from the usual 4 star hotel.

Stayed here three nights and when we walked in after midnight to check in, we were amongst hip locals having cocktails and chatting. The lobby is really tucked in the back and you pass thru a very trendy and happening bar. We got the penthouse room which was one of the larger ones also because it was the last available. W what a living room and bedroom as well as a balcony. The decor, as everyone states, is really original and interesting. The hotel is near everything you need around Navigli. Super convenient and near so many places to eat and shop. A bit of a walk to some metro lines but the tram is around the corner. Breakfast could be more interesting. It’s a bread basket with yogurt and some fruit. We ate the first day and skipped the next two because we were in Italy for the food!! Definitely planning on a return stay at this hotel!
