We only stayed one night to break up our journey through Italy, but what a find! Yes, the hotel has amazing decor. Yes, the room was large, well-equipped, and had a private terrace. Yes, the breakfast was great. What makes it extra special here is the attentive staff. Great service and a lovely recommendation for dinner. We will surely be back for a longer stay.
A delightful stay in a unique hotel. Bedroom was a great size, good range of toiletries, complimentary mini-bar and excellent air-conditioning. Staff helpful and friendly. Good central location with secure car-parking available.
Meet the Yard in march 2017 during a work trip, now in July I returned for holidays with my family and for sure I wanted to stay there. The service, the atmosphere, the bar, every detail of the hotel is perfect and makes you feel so good and relaxed. One of the best hotels that I´ve stayed in my whole wife!
We came on purpose and just for one night to this outstanding hotel. The place is a great collection of things which the owner found and selected during his own travels. All rooms are dedicated to various sports - ours was called "Winch", hence focused on sailing. Breakfast was well composed and served, so no buffet - another different but great idea compared to regular hotels. A must stay and see boutique hotel, especially if you want to visit the Navigli District in Milano which is in walking distance and right across Porta Ticinese.
Really nice hotel in the heart of Milan, just a few steps away from the historic harbor area. Hotel has excellent rooms and service ... and is anything but a normal hotel. Lovely decoration, a bit crazy, a bit art ... really a nice place to explore Milan. Don't miss out on the bar, a famous one in Milan.
I will write my review to the hotel personally, I prefer to add particulars to the staff and owners of the fabulous Yard, also I will post my pictures and write a review on travel guide and face book and will share on instagram and the remaining details I will save for my personal thanks to staff
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, very centrally located with very funky decor. Very professional and welcoming staff offering a choice of welcome drink including champagne. Our first room was located near the bar and we encountered noise until very late. The following day we raised our concerns to reception and we were offered a different room for the rest of our stay. All rooms have an individual style. We explored Milan for the day and upon our return our bags had been transferred to our new room. Both rooms had very comfortable beds with fluffy towels and plenty of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc. Dressing gowns and slippers along with a coffee machine made it so much more comfortable. The free mini bar was a great addition too. The breakfast whilst very well presented in a tray was very carb heavy with pastries, bread and croissants. There was also a small fruit bowl with yogurt. Whilst it was complimentary we only tried it once as my husband prefers hot food which you are not able to get. Drinks in the bar were also served with some hor derves the prices were in line with a quality establishment. A wine and beer around £20. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were immensely helpful with great English. Loved the hotel and would stay again.
Excellent decoration and comfort. The hotel is close to the city center and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Only one big issue, I arrived late and asked at 21:15 the iron for my shirt and they didn´t have any available, they said that the next available will be around 10:am. I had to meet my clients early morning at 06:15am with a wrinkled shirt... that for me is unacceptable ( I was very upset). I know the local culture is more relax and that I arrived late, but for global businessmen & consultants, we only care about 4 things: wifi, iron, connection to the airport & comfort - 24/7. and if you fail in oneof these key points, I cannot recommend this hotel for businessman (specially from Asia- as they work even later than Europeans). I will definetely return with my wife, as I liked the attention and the decoration but only for holidays.
The most beautiful Decor ever! Masculine, Spanish, individual and all very special finds! Warm ambience, and a lot of attention to detail.... you feel strangly at home... and energised of all this creativity and fun around you
I have travel to many counties but never seeing a hotel like this,Maybe because I like retro art，for me every inch and every Furnishings in this hotel is what I love, the staff are friendly, and the pizza store next door also belong to the hotel. And the pizza is so so so amazing!
